The stress of meeting up with appointment

This morning, I had to wake up as early as possible so as not to miss my appointment. Even though I left home around 5:30 am. so that I could meet up with the appointment at 7 am. at the hospital. Unfortunately, I met about 100 pregnant women before me who were already present at the reception, waiting for the arrival of the medical practitioner to attend to them.

The question I first asked myself was, how on earth did they all come before me? When exactly did they leave their various? I kept wondering because from my house to the hospital, was just about 5 5-minute drive. The most annoying part was when I arrived, they stopped giving people numbers, claiming they had 100 people they wanted to attend to today. Is it the medical practitioner's fault that they couldn't attend to all of us when they were present? At the same time, I had to fault them because they were the ones who gave many people appointments for that day and I didn't come, so why would I be denied access to see the doctor?

It was because of this appointment that I had to wake up and deny myself a juicy morning sleep. When I heard they were no longer giving numbers, I had to see a medical expert around to complain about my situation. She felt sorry but told me there was nothing they could do about it as they were short of staff. She claimed many of the doctors employed had relocated for greener pastures. I couldn't but felt bad once more. After much persuasion, she gave me another appointment at the same time, 7 am.

I asked myself what time would i need to wake up so that I could meet fewer people on the appointment because I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who would have given the same date.

I resolved that I would go there by 3 am, pick the number, then go back home and come at exactly 7 am since I know that the doctors don't attend to people until around 9 am.
