Primera visita del año 2024 a la estación Fragata de FIDAES con los alumnos de la Nueva Toledo/ First visit of the year 2024 to the FIDAES Fragata station with the students of Nueva Toledo [ESP/ENG]
Las vacaciones terminaron apenas acabó la primera semana de Enero y para la tercera vine a la estación de Fragata con compañeros de FIDAES, para esa esa ocasión tocó hacer el muestreo de los mejillones y no han crecido tanto como nos fuera gustado, pero si hay un avance. Ahora segun oceanográfico está iniciando la surgencia, así que esperemos que para semana santa tengamos las tallas platos como el año pasado cuando inicié en FIDAES. No me bañé en la playa en esa primera visita de nosotros ya que fué todo super rápido y ponernos de lleno con los otros proyectos del año para la institución, terminé bañanadone y disfrutando de la playa para esta semana y estaba genial como siempre.

I did not bathe in the beach in that first visit of us since it was all super fast and we got busy with the other projects of the year for the institution, I ended up bathing and enjoying the beach for this week and it was great as always.
Hola gente de la comunidad de HIVE SUCRE por acá @eudarcabello y esta vez para contarle esto que fué la primera visita de año 2024 a la estación de Fragata de FIDAES con los alumnos de la Nueva Toledo, lo que resultó con la elaboración de sistema de anclaje o lo que llamamos muertos para el cultivo de mejillones, los cuales servirán en este caso utilizaremos para una futura Long-line que es de los sistemas que vemos mejores resultados para los cultivos de mejillones de la Fundación para la Investigación y Desarrollo de la Acuicultura en el Estado Sucre donde trabajo (FIDAES).

Sigue la veda del mejillón, lo que impide que los bancos de semillas nos vendan para asi sembrar los mejillones que los estudiantes inicien con su cultivo de mejillones para su proyecto. Ahora tenemos un grupo en WhatsApp que fué mi sugerencia donde esten todos los alumnos, los profesores, representantes y el presidente de FIDAES, asi corregir las fallas de comunicación y asistencia del año pasado. Iniciando el año estaban pendiente de su cultivo y su proyecto final para asi graduarse de bachiller, pero este año FIDAES inició con montón de proyectos que también nos tiene ocupados, al hacer la planificación de la semana le recordé al presidente de la institución que los chamos quieren ir a la estación y el dijo que para el jueves.
The mussel ban continues, which prevents the seed banks from selling us the mussels so that the students can start cultivating mussels for their project. We now have a WhatsApp group, which was my suggestion, where all the students, teachers, representatives and the president of FIDAES are present, in order to correct the communication and attendance failures of last year. At the beginning of the year they were pending their crops and their final project to graduate from high school, but this year FIDAES started with a lot of projects that also keeps us busy, when planning the week I reminded the president of the institution that the kids want to go to the station and he said that for Thursday.
Estamos con otras cosas en la institución fuera del cultivo de mejillones y lo que se tenía en planes para esto es la elaboración de otra Long-line que se desea para que acá en la estación de Fragata los de Turpialito de la UDO, FUDACITE Sucre y otras instituciones públicas estamos aliados en un proyecto que seguramente pronto conocerán y para afianzar esta alianza tendrán su sistema de cultivo. Ya que varios estudiantes faltaron la vez que elaboramos los muertos de lo que será la Long-line dinde tendrán su cultivo de mejillones, les pedí vinieran a este y aprovechar vernos para hablar de su proyecto escrito.

Iniciamos bien el año ya que vinieron todos los estudiantes de este proyecto y una representante, de parte de FIDAES estuvo su presidente y Licenciado Neptali Rodríguez, también los funcionarios Armando Anton y Eduard Gutiérrez. Inciamos hablando un poco de su proyecto escrito y acordando que para el próximo encuentro será para ponernos de lleno con su proyecto escrito en lo que pasa la veda del mejillon, su asesor seguirá siendo el Licenciado Lisandro Riaera y la directora también Licenciada en Biología Yajaira Rodríguez, yo seguiré apoyando sin ser asesor para este proyecto. Para esta visita estuvieron ayudando un poco en la elaboración de muerto y al no tratarse de una long-line que no tiene que ver con ellos no se les podía pedir mucho, más se les pidió viniera y ayudara a los que faltaron en la elaboración de muerto de su sistema de cultivo de mejillones.
We started the year well since all the students of this project and a representative came, on behalf of FIDAES was its president and Neptali Rodriguez, also the officials Armando Anton and Eduard Gutierrez. For this visit they were helping a little in the elaboration of the dead body and since it is not a long-line that does not have to do with them we could not ask much of them, but we asked them to come and help those who were missing in the elaboration of the dead body of their mussel cultivation system.
Aún faltaría proceder a la siembra, monitoreo mensual y cosecha de mejillones, es un trabajo fuerte y espero se mantenga la asistencia para este año y vuelvan con el mismo entusiasmo que al inicio a lo que falta de su proyecto, si bien iniciamos un poco con la parte escrita de este proyecto hace falta una reunión con los asesores, posiblemente yo esté ya que apoyo tambien en esta parte, aunque yo este fuertemente trabajando con un proyecto de la institución y en estudiar la posibilidad de iniciar un post grado en Biología Marina, así que ando corriendo para allá y para acá tratando de buscar información de post grado y tambien buscando posible asesor, veremos si se me termina dando esto.
We still need to proceed with the sowing, monthly monitoring and harvesting of mussels, it is a hard work and I hope to maintain the assistance for this year and return with the same enthusiasm as at the beginning to what is left of your project, although we started a little with the written part of this project we need a meeting with the advisors, I may be there since I also support this part, although I am working hard with a project of the institution and studying the possibility of starting a post degree in Marine Biology, so I am running here and there trying to find information about post degree and also looking for a possible advisor, we will see if I end up getting this.
He hecho posts anteriormente sobre mi trabajo en FIDAES que si la cosecha y venta de mejillones, la participación del semillero científico para las escuelas y ahora para estudiantes finalizando su bachillerato donde serviremos como tutores en sus proyectos con cultivo de mejillones, también la presentaciones a comunidades y dos de ellas ya estan cultivando mejillones en acuerdo con nuestra institución, otra cosa que considero súper importantes es el webinar para dar a conocer nuestra institución a nivel nacional y hasta internacional con la Asociación Venezolana de Acuicultores y todas las presentaciones en cuanto a PowerPoint me han tocado hacerlas y en su mayoria hasta presentarlas, para el caso del Webinar si estuvo el presidente, la directora y el técnico Sergio Bruce quienes expusieron y nuestra directora para una de las comunidad fué quien presentó lo que hice en PowerPoint de camarones. De irle bien a este post de seguro traeré más contenido de estos temas, porque creanme que vienen cosas buenas y con suerte hasta se involucren con HIVE y hasta acepte HBD como pago a nuestros productos.
I have previously made posts about my work in FIDAES that if the harvest and sale of mussels, the participation of the scientific seedbed for schools and now for students finishing their high school where we serve as tutors in their projects with mussel farming, also the presentations to communities and two of them are already cultivating mussels in agreement with our institution, Another thing that I consider very important is the webinar to publicize our institution nationally and even internationally with the Venezuelan Association of Aquaculturists and all presentations in terms of PowerPoint I have had to make them and mostly to present them, for the case of the Webinar if the president, the director and the technician Seguio Bruce who exposed and our director for one of the community was who presented what I did in PowerPoint shrimp.
