My Experience in the Physical Activity of Hiking Weekends

    Greetings friends of Hive and the #WeekendExperiences community, today I am once again participating in the initiative promoted by @galenkp, where he presents several themes to choose the one that best identifies us and then describe how is the weekend experience.

    When we talk about physical activity, it does not come to mind, a gym, but it is not only that, but any movement we do to keep the body active, such as cycling, running, walking, dance-therapies, ie today there is no excuse to stay active, and there are many benefits to strengthen our heart and maintain good health.

    Since I studied in elementary school, the subject of physical education is mandatory, because it strengthens growth when we are children, I remember that among the sports we were taught were gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, basketball and running. The one I liked the most was running, from then on I felt identified with this sport, he made us what is called oxygen consumption test, which consisted of running for 15 minutes, and I was one of those who won the races, that's why later in high school I started to run and participate in different running competitions.

    It should be noted that currently I have remained active, hiking, I usually train twice a week, and on weekends that can be on Saturdays or Sundays, I do a long training hike, or also participate in some hiking competition where other hikers go who are very good at climbing the mountain.

    The sport of hiking has become for me, a healthy habit, I have stopped training when I have an injury, a week ago I rested a few days because I had an inflammation in my left knee, and the best remedy is rest, and then recover and activate again. Every time I go for a walk, I record these workouts in the Strava application, which I have installed on my cell phone, which is a way to keep track of my progress in my hiking workouts.

    As you can see I have always been physically active, because it is important to do any sport, that first of all you like it, and enjoy it, besides it allows you to maintain good physical health, I recommend you to do any sport, so that you enjoy good health, and if it is hiking you will enjoy the natural beauty, the oxygen that you breathe in every mountain that I climb, in the mornings or in the afternoons.
