It was good to be back home after a long weekend away visiting family. It felt a lot warmer than when we left, and that may have brought this young goanna out. It was a bit of a surprise to just see it sunning itself on a big rock at one of the enterances to the nature reserve.
He or she did not seemed worried when I got a bit closer for a couple of photos.
A wallaby was wondering what all the fuss was about.
Lots of the gun trees have almost lost all there bark and looked very fresh and clean. Activity wise, it was a morning jog, catching up on some house chores, a few body weight exercises, and the afternoon stroll.
