One of my favorite things in the summer is encountering dragonflies. When I was a child, I would sometimes wander down to the other end of the block, which seemed to have more trees, this was the first place I would encounter them. From out of nowhere, they would appear, and I used to be afraid. Once I learned more about them from reading nature books that I had borrowed from my school library, I really began to like them. Now, as a photographer, they are about the best subject I can find among insects. No matter how often I get pictures, I will always want more, as I am just fascinated by how these little creatures look.
