The existence of the universe is confusing to me

Sometimes when I look at how massive this planet Earth is, I wonder what the Gigantic Guy upstairs (God) was thinking when He was creating it. The wideness of the earth is beyond my comprehension, still I learnt that other planets existed. Like how come now, is it really true that other planets truly exist? Like for real?😱😱

While I was in secondary school what I learnt in geography about the space was unbelievable to me which makes me dream of having the privilege to explore the world and possibly other planets to see the beauty of it all and also confirm its existence.

When surfing the internet to know more about the universe, I'm always frustrated and left in a confused state. There are lots of different views about the space from astronomy, astrology and a lot more, I find it very difficult to believe a lot of things. I will eventually end up having doubt and numerous questions in my mind, the most annoying part is that no one to give answers to my questions.

    Some of my questions are:

    • How come we were able to get water from the ground for our use? What's preventing the earth from submerging?
    • Who is in charge of sunrise and sunset?
    • Is it true that the earth evolves around the sun on its own?
    • Is it true that as big as the earth is, the Sun is bigger than it?

I don't understand, as in that shiny small thing that look like a ball in the sky which I learnt is thousands of miles away from the Earth is bigger than this big Earth.......that's mind blowing and crazy 🤣 🤣

What baffles me the most is that I recently read that a particular Star is bigger than the Sun, that means the earth is nothing compared to that Massive Star. Looking at the sky at night seeing galaxies of stars makes me wonder that there might be hundreds, thousands or million of yet to be discovered Stars that are bigger that the Sun let alone the Earth.....this is really serious🫣

Both religion and scientific research contradict one another on the existence of the universe and the different inhabitants that live in it because the earth we live in, has lots of inhabitants that some are yet to be discovered. There are lots of questions on my mind that require answers which I don't have anyone to give me a reasonable reply.

However as a Christian by faith, I've learnt that there is more to the world after I've read the Book of Job chapter 38 & 39. So with this, I concluded that it's only the creator of the universe who is a supernatural being that knows what is embedded in the universe because everything about the whole space is beyond man's wisdom and understanding.

Even scientific researches are of different views, they can't comprehend the greatness of its existence only God who is a Divine being has the answer to all man's curiosity about all that's on earth and beyond. So for me not to go insane about what I didn't know when it was created, I will conclude by saying The Earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell in it
