Hello to my #Vibes Community. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing pretty well. @Lordbutterfly and their whole team is doing a wonderful job.

Today I am going to participate in vibes web3 Music Competition Week 13. I am very excited that I am sharing a wonderful urdu ghazal of a famous late pakistani singer Madam Noor Jahan. She was not only a popular singer of Pakistan but also a renowned singer of Sub continent. She is still one of my favourite singer.

The lyrics of today's song is quite soul touching. Here are the lyrics of the song.

Mujh se pehli si mohabat mere mehboob na maang

Main ne samjha tha key too hey
    To darakhshaan hey hayat
Taira gham he to ghame dehr ka jhagra kya he
Teri soorat se hey aalam main baharon ko sabaat
Tari aankhon key siwa dunya main rakha kya hey
Too jo mil jaye to taqdeer nigoon ho jaye
Kyun na samjha tha faqat main ne key yoon ho jaye

Mujh se pehli si mohabat mere mehboob na maang

Anginnat sadion se tareeq baeemana danist
Resham-o atlas - o kamkhawab main kumlaye huwey
Ja baja bikhrey huwey koocha-o deewar main jism
Khaak main lithrey huwey khoon main nehlaye huwey
Laot jaati hey udhar ko bji nazar kya keejye
Ab bhi dilkash hey taira husan magar kya keejye
Aur bhi gham hain zamaney main mohabat key siwa
Raahatain aur bhi hain wasal ki raahat key siwa

Mujh se pehli si mohabat mere mehboob na maang.

Here is the English Translation of this beautiful urdu poem.

Don't ask me for that same love again, my beloved
I had thought that you were the one
But life is full of sorrows, and your sorrow is just a part of it
What's the point of fighting with fate?

Your face is the reason for the beauty of the world
But what's left in the world besides your eyes?
If I were to find you, I would be destined to be ruined
Why didn't I realize that it would turn out this way?

Don't ask me for that same love again, my beloved

For centuries, I've been searching for a glimpse of you
    Like a thread from a worn-out carpet, I'm exhausted
My body is scattered in the streets and walls, my blood is soaked in the earth
What can I do if your beauty still attracts me?

There are other sorrows in life besides love
And other comforts besides the comfort of union

Don't ask me for that same love again, my beloved.

This poem is written by famous pakistani ppet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. He was a renowned poet of Pakistan. This poem is originally sung by Madam Noor Jahan. The way he performed this poem, its awesome. I just tried to sing this beautiful poem. Being a lover of classical music, I mostly listnen to Madam Noor Jahan and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. I hope my vibes community will be amused by this wonderful pakistani poem.

    Thank you so much.
