Happy Boxing Day, Hive community. I believe we had a great celebration for Christmas and will definitely be enjoying the rest of the holiday.
It's Thursday morning, and somehow the weather has changed from the usual. We've experienced cold for some weeks now, and it seems the cold is taking a temporary break.
The heat was gradually getting to me, and I decided to make something to ease the temperature. It's a regular homemade drink I just can't get tired of, and I believe a lot of people enjoy this too.
This drink is not just healthy but very delicious because all the ingredients are actually sweet fruits. The combination of these fruits as a drink is capable of doing so much magic, but I won't mention any, so you can give the drink a try too.
Ingredients.
800g of Watermelon
250g of Pineapple
3 oranges
1 piece of ginger
Procedure.
I started by processing the fruits.
- I cut the watermelon into small sizes and got rid of the back.
- I have my pineapple peeled already, so I just cut it into small sizes as well.
- I peeled the orange and opened up the fruit into small sizes. I tried removing some of the seeds as well.
- I peeled the ginger and also cut it into small sizes.
- I filled my blender with the fruits and added 50cl of cold water.
- I blended the fruits for three minutes. It really shouldn't be up that, but I needed the ginger to blend properly.
- After blending, I got a bowl and placed my sieve on it.
- I started pouring the blended fruit inside the sieve just to get rid of whatever shaft the fruit produced.
- I repeated the process until I properly sieved all the juice into the container.
- The fruit juice is ready, and I filled up my cups immediately.
- I added some ice into the cups as well, and this took the drink satisfaction to a whole new level.
Like I mentioned earlier, the drink is healthy. All these fruits contain great nutrients needed by our body system, so this is not a waste of money, especially now that there are lots of fake and unhealthy drinks out there.
I did enjoy the drink as usual, and it was great sharing with my family.
