Happy New Year my friends, It feels like 2025 has raced around, the past few months have seemed to flow by, and all in great spirits. I have only recently reconnected with HIVE, previously my Hive Power sat in the low ranges of 2000.
All my previous Hive Power I earned myself, I'm unsure If I ever powered up more than a few HIVE every blue moon. I don't recall participating in any previous Hive Power Up Days due to low liquidity but I would always tell myself "next month I'll participate!"
I took around a year or more away from HIVE, I missed out on a lot and I do regret not sticking around, even for curating purposes only! (Yes I left my vote value untouched at 100% until I returned, regrettably!) I potenitally could have returned to a few extra hundred HIVE in all that time! But alas.
Upon my return I was sitting on quite a few thousands of HIVE, due to purchasing around the $0.50 mark. I was not indenting on selling for a loss, so I staked and powered myself up finally. It feels fantastic sitting in the 10,000+ HP range.
I went with a decent Power Up of 100 HP! I am looking forward to gaining the more appealing badge on my profile for the power up. I am looking forward to participating in the "Hive Power Up Month" which has the stipulation of either making a daily power up (even 1HP suffices.)
or better yet, you can participate by creating content daily and changing the payout options towards 100% Hive Power.
With that being said I now sit pretty at 10,359 HP! which is quite incredible, the next short term goal will be the 10,500 HP milestone!
