Happy last day of 2024! It feels like this year has dragged on AND flown by! I don't even know how that's possible!

The weather has been different this December in the highlands of Panama. We started dry season with blue skies, rainbows, and winds, as usual. We got a few weeks of sunshine, and then on Christmas day, we had rain. We've never seen in rain on Christmas - a wet, not white Christmas! We really look forward to the sunshine and rainbows again soon - we've had a few days of clouds and rain!

This year we did many fun things. We started the year with Nana and Pop coming to visit and watch the kids while the hubs and I went on a cruise to the ABC islands. That was a lot of fun and we made great memories!

We had some new people move to the neighborhood and even some construction started on a new house. We imported a new dog from Colombia, and even though he's a crazy nut, he's a good addition to our family. We also acquired our silly Siamese boy, and even though he typically hates being held, we all love him!

Our oldest turned 16 and did driving school. Even though his paperwork hasn't arrived from the US, he should get his license here soon, as long as he passes the driving part of the test! Ha! All of our kids seem to have grown this year and changed so much! I guess that's how it seems like this year has just totally flown by!

As we look forward to 2025, we have some things we hope to accomplish - like the splitting of the lots in our neighborhood, filling our rental homes with great families, and receiving new friends into the area. We plan to continue our family workouts and eat healthier this coming year. I expect to keep up our social media accounts and YouTube channel for the neighborhood. I also want to spend more consistent time in prayer and Bible reading this year. I look forward to 2025!
