España Vs. Italia

La Eurocopa sigue su camino y las naciones sueñan con sus selecciones alzando este trofeo, sin embargo, este privilegio será para un equipo y a pesar de encontrarnos en etapas tempranas del torneo, ya se vislumbran algunas de las selecciones que se pueden catalogar como "favoritas", y en esa selecta lista de equipos a tener en cuenta, se encuentra España, no solo por los nombres de sus jugadores, también en cuanto a su funcionamiento, ganándole a Italia. A pesar de que el gol fue un autogol, el equipo ibérico mostró lo que podríamos decir uno de los mejores funcionamientos colectivos en la Eurocopa, teniendo en cuenta que Italia es otra de esas selecciones importantes.
Funcionamiento de la Selección Española
Así como lo comenté en el primer post refiriéndome al partido de España Vs. Croacia, el juego del conjunto español es bastante efectivo, los rivales que intenten marcar 2 a 1 a Rodri (pieza fundamental en el esquema táctico) le otorgarán libertades a un inspirado Fabián Ruiz en el medio campo, ahora se le suma la movilidad de Pedri que se vio bastante activo en el desenvolvimiento del equipo.
En la alineación oficial de España muestra un 4-3-3, sin embargo, Rodri se posiciona unos metros más atrás y unos pasos más adelante se encuentra Fabián Ruiz, pero por detrás de los atacantes y funcionando como una especie de media punta o enganche estuvo Pedri. La gran movilidad y el talento de no solo de los mediocampistas, sino de todo el equipo, hizo que el juego siempre estuviese a favor de España desde un punto de vista táctico.
Pedri fue fundamental para encontrar los espacios, además, así como el partido contra Croacia Fabián Ruiz tiene un excelente partido y por los momentos es uno de los mejores de la copa, pero también hay que hablar de chico de 16 años que simplemente juega a un nivel de élite, Lamine Yamal es la referencia ofensiva de España, tuvo un buen partido aunque los reflectores en esta ocasión apuntaron al otro extremo del equipo.

Desde mi punto de vista, este jugador fue el que otorgó el mayor espectáculo del partido, un joven de 21 años que vive lo que hasta ahora, es su mejor momento en su corta carrera futbolística, este jugador desequilibrarte fue una pesadilla para la defensa italiana, y vaya que no es algo que se pueda catalogar como sencillo, los italianos son por cultura excelentes defensores, sin embargo, este jugador logró ganar la mayoría de los duelos por la banda izquierda, siendo determinante en el único gol que hace que España obtenga la victoria.
Este jugador tiene un gran futuro y solo basta este partido para que seguramente comiencen a llegar ofertas de grandes equipos, sobre todo, de la Premier League, así que no me sorprendería verlo en la liga más competitiva del mundo entero.
Victoria por Autogol
Se podría decir que ganar mediante un autogol no es de mucha alegría, sobre todo, si se está hablando del funcionamiento del equipo. Evidentemente, el ataque y esos últimos pases deben mejorarse, al igual que la definición. Tirar varias veces al travesaño no hace ganar los partidos; sin embargo, las probabilidades siempre juegan a favor de quien intenta más. En este partido, Morata no fue determinante y tuvo una labor de combatir directamente con los defensores centrales; además, los delanteros que entraron en el segundo tiempo tampoco fueron efectivos en lograr colocar el 2-0 en el marcador.
Ciertamente España debe mejorar la definición, sin embargo, este equipo logró lapidar a una selección que se vio muy bien en su primer partido. Si somos objetivos, Italia ha recibido dos goles que son causados por errores propios, sin embargo, en su partido contra Albania los italianos dominaron enteramente el partido con un Chiesa imparable, pero que este partido el funcionamiento de la selección italiana fue apabullada por la del equipo español. Eso es lo que me sorprende en cuanto al funcionamiento. Sé que Albania no es un equipo de élite, pero Italia tiene un buen equipo y el día de hoy España simplemente les pasó por encima desde lo táctico.
Chiesa, Pellegrini y Barella, entre otros nombres, que son de mucho talento, sencillamente no se vieron en todo en partido. Tuvieron que realizar labores defensivas en la mayoría de los minutos, cuando era evidente que Italia intentaría dominarle el medio campo a los españoles.
Calafiori
Este fue el villano para los italianos, un mal movimiento se transformó en un autogol, sin embargo, desde mi punto de vista había muchas probabilidades de que España lograra anotar luego, aunque eso no deja de que este suceso termine por ser determinante en este partido, es un momento muy malo para este jugador, sin embargo, este es un defensor muy bueno. Pienso que Calafiori pudiese convertirse en un defensa al estilo de leyendas como Chellini o Bonucci, así que espero que este error no les haga tener una percepción errada, este es un defensor que puede convertirse en leyenda.

The European Championship continues and nations dream of their teams lifting the trophy, however, this privilege will go to one team and despite being in the early stages of the tournament, there are already glimpses of some of the teams that can be classified as "favourites", and in that select list of teams to take into account is Spain, not only because of the names of their players, but also in terms of their performance, beating Italy. Despite the goal being an own goal, the Iberian team showed what was arguably one of the best collective performances at the European Championship, bearing in mind that Italy is another of those top teams.

As I commented in the first post referring to the Spain vs Croatia match, the Spanish team's play is quite effective, the opponents who try to score 2 to 1 to Rodri (fundamental piece in the tactical scheme) will give freedom to an inspired Fabian Ruiz in midfield, now we add the mobility of Pedri who was quite active in the development of the team.
Spain's official line-up shows a 4-3-3, however, Rodri is positioned a few metres further back and a few steps further forward is Fabián Ruiz, but behind the attackers and functioning as a kind of midfielder was Pedri. The great mobility and talent of not only the midfielders, but the whole team, meant that the game was always in Spain's favour from a tactical point of view.
Pedri was fundamental to find the spaces, moreover, as well as the match against Croatia Fabian Ruiz has an excellent game and at the moment is one of the best of the cup, but we must also talk about 16 year old boy who simply plays at an elite level, Lamine Yamal is the offensive reference of Spain, he had a good game although the spotlight on this occasion pointed to the other end of the team.

From my point of view, this player was the one who gave the biggest show of the match, a young 21 year old who lives what so far, is his best moment in his short football career, this unbalanced player was a nightmare for the Italian defence, and wow that is not something that can be catalogued as simple, the Italians are by culture excellent defenders, however, this player managed to win most of the duels on the left wing, being determinant in the only goal that makes Spain get the victory.
This player has a great future and this game alone is enough to surely start getting offers from big teams, especially from the Premier League, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the most competitive league in the world.
Victory by own goal
You could say that winning by own goal is not much to cheer about, especially if you are talking about the team's performance. Obviously, the attack and those last passes need to be improved, as well as the finishing. Hitting the crossbar a few times does not win games; however, the odds are always in favour of the one who tries the most. In this match, Morata was not decisive and had to fight directly with the central defenders; moreover, the strikers who came on in the second half were not effective in making the score 2-0.
Certainly Spain need to improve their finishing, but this team managed to stone a team that looked very good in their first match. If we are objective, Italy have conceded two goals that are caused by their own mistakes, however, in their match against Albania the Italians dominated the match entirely with an unstoppable Chiesa, but this match the performance of the Italian team was overwhelmed by that of the Spanish team. That's what surprises me in terms of performance. I know Albania is not an elite team, but Italy have a good team and today Spain simply ran over them tactically.
Chiesa, Pellegrini and Barella, among other names, who are very talented, were simply not seen throughout the match. They had to perform defensive duties for most of the minutes, when it was obvious that Italy would try to dominate the Spanish midfield.
Calafiori
This was the villain for the Italians, a bad move turned into an own goal, however, from my point of view there was a good chance for Spain to score afterwards, although that doesn't stop this event from being a determining factor in this match, it's a very bad moment for this player, however, this is a very good defender. I think Calafiori could become a defender in the style of legends like Chellini or Bonucci, so I hope this mistake doesn't make you have the wrong perception, this is a defender who could become a legend.
