    Hello Hive community.

I hope you all have fun. I am also having fun.Today's post is made by me to participate in the black and white photography contest "#monomad challenge". So I was thinking of taking part in black and white photography for a long time but it was not possible. Finally, today I made a post for this contest. My post today is based on Pandava Cave. Pandava Cave is a beautiful and archaeological site located in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh state of India. Pandav Cave is located at a distance of 15 km from Panna which is a major city in Madhya Pradesh and 35 km from Khajurao which has been granted walled heritage status by UNESCO. Another feature of Padav Cave is that it is located under a waterfall. The name of one and a half of this water is Pandav fall and this place is also famous by the name of Pandav fall. I showed you Pandav Cave today, so the title of my post is also Pandav Cave.

The Pandava cave is located at a depth of about 30 meters from the ground level. Thus this area is surrounded by forest and mountains. Between these streams, a small valley-like formation has formed where the Pandava cave is located. There are total 12 doors to enter this Pandava cave, the inner side is another three doors. According to local Bhomias, if you go inside these three doors, then the cave starts, it crosses the distant mountains and comes out. The cave site has been closed by the Government Archeology Department as it is a forest area and wild animals roam here. So this cave has been closed for the safety of tourists.

It is said by the informants that the construction of the Pandava cave was done in the 7th century. But the guide here says that this cave is even older than that. There are carvings on the walls of this cave but with the passage of time and due to the incessant flow of water here and there, the lill has frozen on these walls. Or the crust of these walls has been removed. A small temple is also built on the upper side of the Pandava cave. There was a road to go to this temple but that road has also been closed now.

The photographs above show the view from the inside of the cave. In which it can be seen that there are 3 other doors on the inner side of the 6 doors. The cave starts from the back side of this door. There are many myths associated with Padava Cave. This cave got its name Pandava Cave because during the Mahabharata period, the Pandavas went into unknown abode. During this unknown stay, the Pandavas stayed here and spent a lot of time here, so the name of this cave is known as Pandava Cave after them. Here you have to take a ticket for this, the cost of which is 50 rupees per person. If you have a vehicle with you, the cost is 200 rupees. In which you also get a guide. This guide gives you complete information about this cave.

Another interesting thing about Pandav cave was that the temperature here was 8 degrees lower than the temperature of the ground outside. We visited the Pandav cave in summer time, the temperature of the area around Panna is 36 to 38 degree but reaching the Pandav cave the temperature becomes 30 degree. You can also feel the difference in temperature here. Here there is a lake of water coming out of the cave and after that the forest starts. The Pandava Cave is a perfect place to hide so the Pandavas must have stayed here during the Mahabharata period. These caves may have helped the Pandavas to move from one place to another during their unknown stay.

Around the Pandava cave are huge trees of Arjuna. Due to the cold climate here, wild animals also come here at night. Wild animals get water in the lake here and also get a warm environment. Apart from that, due to the coolness, there are many beehives here. The guide said that Rich also comes here to eat honey from this beehive. The guide also showed us bear paw prints on the trees. There was also a huge tree lying beside the Pandav cave whose photographs I have shared with you here.

On the upper side of the Pandava cave is a huge ravine. These gorges are more than 30 meters. A continuous flow of water keeps falling down from between these ravines. Water keeps coming down from between these ravines for 12 months. This water is naturally rich in minerals. The guide said that drinking this water does not cause joint pain. People bring empty water bottles here and fill water bottles here and take them with them. I have seen all this with my own eyes.

Pandav cave is worth visiting. I must come here once. The place is endowed with the beauty of nature. There is a single water waterfall here. There is a lake. There is a beautiful forest all around. There are also caves. And all this is in a small valley. Really beautiful place.

I hope that you will like my post on pandava cave, information about the cave and its photographs.
