gardening in a narrow area

Narrow yard for planting chili CUACA CETAR. Organic chili planting media is husk, compost, bran, and coke. With a ratio of 2:1:1:1. Hopefully useful and inspiring gardening at home.

Calculating the Cost of Making a Raised-Bed Gardening
Some colleagues have asked about how much it costs to make a raised-bed gardening like the one made in Zeze Zahra's cabin yard. Here's how to calculate it.
The land box to be made measures 3x1 meters with a media height of 20cm. The walls of the land box will use hebel measuring 60 x 10 x 20 cm (length x width x height).

    The number of hebels needed = (3 meters x 2 hebels per meter x 2 sides) + (1 meter x 2 hebels per meter x 2 sides)
    The result is 12 + 4 = 16 hebels.

The price of one hebel is assumed to be 10 thousand rupiah, so for 1 land box it will cost 160 thousand rupiah. Plus the adhesive cement, rounded up to 200 thousand rupiah.
Expensive? Yes, it is expensive, if you make it for 1 hectare of land and if the vegetables planted are cheap and cheerful plants with thin profits. And it is also expensive if it is considered as an investment for only 1 year.
So, if it is expensive, why is it made? Because the cost is not actually a cost for 1-2 months or 1-2 years, but for example the cost for 5 years because the investment is in the form of a permanent land box. Assume this land box lasts up to 5 years, then the actual investment per year becomes 200,000/5 = 40 thousand per year. Makes sense, right?
