Improving the office wall / Mejorando la pared de la oficina

Hello everyone, I'm Yennys and I'm a Content Creator and I can say that I'm almost exclusively from Diy, where I like to do my sewing, jewelry and also decorative and functional elements.

Today I am making this post to participate in the Inleo initiative "May Inleo - Monthly Prompts" for the Hive Diy and it is about a very special space for my son, who works at home and Freelance as a Digital Illustrator. This studio is on one side of my house, and it is practically a hallway as he says, he spends many hours working in this office and every day he buys it something to make it more cozy and well decorated, since he has verified that this feeling of well-being stimulates your creativity or inspiration.

Hoy realizo esta publicación para participar en la iniciativa Inleo "May Inleo - Monthly Prompts" para la Comunidad de Hive Diy y es sobre un espacio muy especial para mi hijo, quien trabaja en casa y Freelance como Ilustrador Digital. Este estudio queda de un lado de mi casa, y es prácticamente un pasillo como él dice, pasa muchas horas trabajando en esta oficina y cada día le compra algo para que esté más acogedora y bien decorada, ya que ha comprobado que esta sensación de bienestar estimula su creatividad o inspiración.

This small office, although small, has a window with natural light towards the front of the house and this is a plus when you want to open it and receive another type of energy. On one side it has a white folding door with transparent blue panels that allow continuous light from the room, but gives privacy. The other wall has a very bad finish because although it is smooth and looks smooth, it really is not, it has a curve in the middle that has always bothered him. We wanted to have that wall smoothed out well, but it was going to cause dust work and setbacks.

So, I talked to my son about the self-adhesive panels that are currently on sale and in fashion, since I believe that if you add an element like this, it will give the wall another texture and interest, and immediately.

Esta pequeña oficina aunque es pequeña, cuenta con una ventana con luz natural hacia el frente de la casa y esto es un plus cuando quiere abrirla y recibir otro tipo de energía. De un lado tiene una puerta plegable de color blanco con paneles azules transparentes que permiten pasar la luz de la sala que está continua, pero le da privacidad. La otra pared tiene un mal acabado porque aunque está lisa y se ve lisa, realmente no lo está, tiene una curva en el medio que siempre le ha molestado. I know this product well because I placed it on my wall where I work with my sewing machine and my PC. It is very flexible, has a paper on the back that is easily peeled off and has a very efficient glue to adhere to the wall.

I recommended the same one I used, the one with white bricks, because since his office was so small it was convenient for these decorative panels to be very discreet so as not to visually make the space smaller. The idea is that it provides interest and that with this it manages to hide that the wall is not so straight or level. It should be noted that this is not noticeable as soon as you see it, but it bothers my son too much.

Este producto lo conozco bien porque lo coloqué en mi pared donde trabajo con mi máquina de coser y mi pc. Es muy flexible, tiene un papel en la parte posterior que se despega fácilmente y que tiene una pega muy eficiente para adherirse a la pared.
Le recomendé la misma que usé, la de ladrillos blancos, porque al ser su oficina tan pequeña era conveniente que estos paneles decorativos sean muy discretos para no hacer visualmente el espacio más pequeño. La idea es que aporte interés y que con esto logre disimular que la pared no está tan derecha o nivelada. Cabe destacar que, esto no se percibe apenas la ves, pero a mi hijo le molesta demasiado.

But when we placed the decorative panels in my son's small office, we did it using a level, from the middle of the wall since that is where we placed it, and when we got to the bottom we realized that the curve of the wall affected it equally. below, since the panels did not end exactly the same below. Quiero contarles que, cuando colocamos sus paneles fue más difícil que cuando coloqué los míos, porque mi hijo cuando ve mi pared insiste en que no los coloqué con nivel para garantizar que estén perfectos, y ciertamente no usé nivel, cuando puse los míos me guie por la marca que hacía mi escritorio y de allí seguí... We placed these decorative panels only on one wall of the small office, white like the color of the wall itself, and it certainly managed to give interest to the space, without attracting much attention.

The space was more beautiful, warm and welcoming. The elements I had in this office like the dark curtain, the million artificial plants and all the other details look great now.

Estos paneles decorativos los colocamos solo en una pared de la pequeña oficina, blanco como el propio color de la pared, y ciertamente se logró dar interés al espacio, sin llamar mucho la atención.
El espacio quedó más hermoso, cálido y acogedor. Los elementos que tenía en esta oficina como la cortina oscura, el millón de plantitas artificiales y todos los demás detalles se ven geniales ahora.

The truth is that the small space was so cozy with this detail, that I can no longer imagine it with a simple, plain white wall. The way it harmonizes everything, how the light bounces off it, is so pleasant and aesthetic.

La verdad es que el pequeño espacio quedó tan acogedor con este detalle, que ya no logro imaginarlo con una simple pared blanca y lisa. La forma como armoniza todo, como rebota la luz en ella, es tan agradable y aesthetic.

These panels with the white brick design were really the best option, this means that they do not compete with any other element, they are only there to soften the environment, and I really like how they look with the color changes of the LED lights.

Realmente fue la mejor opción estos paneles con el diseño de ladrillos blancos, esto hace que no compita con ningún otro elemento, solo están ahí para suavizar el ambiente, y me gusta mucho como se ven con los cambios de colores de las luces led.

I highly recommend the use of self-adhesive decorative panels to decorate more intimate spaces such as bedrooms or work spaces, but for more social areas such as the living room, hallway, kitchen or dining room, I prefer real stone or walls with paint or textures.

Recomiendo altamente el uso de los paneles decorativos autoadhesivos para ambientar espacios más íntimos como las habitaciones o espacios de trabajo, pero para áreas más sociales como la sala, recibidores, cocina o comedores, si prefiero la piedra real o pared con pintura o texturas.
En las habitaciones o como este caso la oficina de mi hijo, si es ideal el uso de paneles decorativos autoadhesivos, y ya luego con la experiencia de uso y de saber cómo nos sentimos con un elemento así, si diría que es mejor a futuro usar la piedra que se quiera usar o la textura en pared o lo que sea.

Aún le falta seguir acondicionando o mejorando el espacio, por ejemplo las repisas que están en la pared creo que es mejor retirarlas y sustituirlas por cuadros impresos de su arte digital, es lo que le sugiero ya que exponer su arte en forma impresa también será inspirador y al mismo tiempo abre visualmente más el espacio que es muy pequeño.
