Staying with rude in-laws can be devastating mostly when you are with a guy that can't stand up for you.

Coping with situations as such can be difficult. If I found myself in a situation where I got pregnant and faced cruel treatment from rude in-laws. One thing about relationship is having someone who can stand by you but a situation were one's guy is one who can't stand up for his woman, considering alternative would be the solution

There is nothing as healthy as walking out of a toxic environment. Maltreatment from in-laws is what I doubt I can tolerate. I'm a very fragile person and little things get to me mostly when it is connected to emotions. The only way to gain my peace of mind is walking away from such a relationship.

I know the decision of walking away with the child wouldn't be easy because raising a child alone can be hard but considering my emotional well-being and a healthier environment is worth putting into consideration.

I have a friend who had been in this situation, her in-laws were very cruel to her. Her child was out of wedlock and her parents forcefully sent her to live with the man responsible. The man's parents maltreated the young lady to an extent it turned physical and emotional abuse.

Her presence was a disturbance, no atom of respect for her, not even because of her child. The guy who claimed to love her only in the bedroom wasn't there for her.

She couldn't endure the hostile attitude, she felt betrayed from her partner's end who was supposed to be her friend and protector. Her in-laws showed all their negative messages through words which were emotionally draining.

Having been rejected by her own parents and everyone, one fateful day, she made up her mind to leave the house. According to her, she cried alone in the dark room for months, feeling rejected and depressed.

After a long time, she was able to get everything behind her and move on with life. She endeavored as a single mum to raise her child alone and she did her best but later lost the child to illness. All those were experiences but became an open door for her as she got married later to a family that valued her and respected her not minding her past.
