We're all gonna to die! Eventually. In the meantime, life goes on, might as well enjoy it while you got it. Snuck out early recently to catch the last 0800 sunrise for a while, hiked up to the overlook in Iroquois Park.
Around here it seems like everyone has been in a bit of a fog ever since the election got called. Still having trouble wrapping my head around how anyone who survived 2020 could put us back in that situation again but people never cease to amaze me.
Doom & Gloom have entered the room. They're terrible company but once they wear out their welcome they usually antagonize Complacency into leaving. This ain't our first dystopia y'all! We take care of us.
This last shot is from election day, was waiting for something to happen at the polls when I noticed this guy lighting a cigarette across the street. Lined up the shot and waited for him to take another drag but instead he produced a tallboy of Bud Light and took a swig. Just seemed appropriate given the situation. As the boomers used to say, "Whatever gets you through the night."
