Warhammer 40k - The Big Green Cleen begins!

Good day everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa!

This is the hobby of Warhammer 40,000.

Some of the models that I have collected came straight from the shop and I built them from the sprue, but buying in 2nd hand models is a great way of bulking out your collection.

Sometimes it is necessary to clean off the current paint on those models, especially when there is too much paint caked on. This happens when a model has been painted over too many times before or if someone painted it without being taught to paint with thin layers of paint and globs it on.

These models have been standing in the Cleen Green for about a week now. Some of them I took out of the solution already clean! Others, I need to brush with an old toothbrush!

This is the first bunch I did... I have a lot more to do!

Enjoy the camera roll and explination!

    Clean Lieutenant

    Clean Space Wolf

    Clean Space Marine (Ultramarine)

Space Marine before cleaning (For those that know them, yes this is a Smiley Marine)

    After cleaning the Smiley Marine

    Space Wolf Lieutenant pre-clean

    And after the cleaning!

Looks like I murdered a Smurf!

And in a sense... a lot of the blue comes from Ultramarines! Lol!
