CAUGHT UP IN A MIX FEELINGS :TRUE EXPERIENCE At The NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP.

I have always been a lover of adventures I love travels, tours, experiencing life else where, living and interacting with different cultures, traditions, people of all race and tongues, I love to adapt, learn something new way of life, and moving, mixing up with the people, trust me when I say I have never experienced it this good in Camp currently.

Now I understand better why people criticise the government because they don't know the effort the government are making to ease the reality and to make life more meaningful, simply because they don't know they backlash tongue lash and go all way out to instigate anti government protest. As a National youth service corp members I can now stand in the gap to educate and promote national unity among all NIGERIANS.

We have been duely educated on all fronts about the NYSC Core mission and aim among Nigerian youth, which is basically Reorientation, Reintegration and Resettlement of a war-torn country after the 1973 Civil war that lasted for almost three years, the goal seeks to rebuild a new nation were trust, togetherness, unity and team spirit is common among the people, the NYSC scheme which was inaugurated by the then president Gown birthed the idea of a new NIGERIA, through the youth.

Today I see myself among NIGERIAN youth from all over the country the Hausa/Fulani man from Nasarawa, the Fine, cute lady I met from the Yoruba trib

e who came from Osun, my friend Biodun from Illorin, the tallest guy in camp from Anambra, the most sweetest part of all these is how the white on white T-shirt, white short on white canvas and white socks mads us all look as one, no matter the background family status, religious background, tribe and tongue, we look alike and the same.

Now I get the idea behind the Scheme to merge all NIGERIANS as one were no tribalism or ethnicity come into play, we all see ourselves as one people dressed in all white as our compound uniform, the colour white symbolises peace and tranquillity.

The basics Core drives of the Nysc on camp being the orientation course is aim at sensitising and imbibing the Nigerian Youth with the basic knowledge and understanding the core principles of the scheme aim at promoting National Unity, trust, transperancy, team spirit Among NIGERIANS, the Orientation course is packed with great lecture sessions aim to teach sensitise and liberate the Nigerian youth to also let them understand the mind of the government towards the citizenry, corp members are advised to strictly adhere to them

The federal government decided to come up with a way to curb the unemployment rate in the country, because most graduate after serving return home and start looking for white collar jobs which is far fetched, in order to fix this the SAED program was brought to encourage, teach, train and support corp members who develop interest to learn and further their skill set learned in camp, this includes in camp training and off camp training with collaboration with both Government and privates corporate bodies to assist these corp members with necessary financial grants and loans to be able to set up themselves.

There is a lot I'm currently learning and just few weeks in camp has drastically changed my perspection about the government and all the efforts of which the NYSC is one of the strongest channel through which the government is pushing out its solutions to build a thriving Nation were peace, unity and Love is upheld.
