Going into a relationship with someone is not about perfection. We as humans are not perfect, every humans make mistakes or have their flaws. It's just for you to pick your partner and work on yourselves or manage yourselves.
When I was still dating my husband,whenever I went to visit him, his room was always neat and plates, cups and spoons kept properly. It was one of the things I loved about him, his neatness. Though as at then he did not have much load and when I talk to him about getting more clothes, plates and bigger pots, he will tell me he does not need them especially the clothes.
We have been married for five years and it was later on I got to know he is a maximalist. Now he has more clothes and when he should remove anyone he will keep it anywhere. No matter how I arrange things, he will still find one to disorganize. We have talked about it but yet no change from him, he will just adjust for few weeks then go back to his maximalist lifestyle. There is nothing I can than to bear with him.
He is sweetheart, he is caring, the only problem is the maximalist lifestyle, so I just overlook it. I myself I am not perfect, I do things that he does not like and he overlooks it.
