I'm supposed to post my art-related blogs in my other account, but since what I made was an anime-related fan art, I'd rather post it on my main blog.
I actually started re-watching Haikyuu! for the nth time this week. I'm just feeling a bit stressed, so I needed it. It's my comfort anime after all. However, when I tried watching it in the living room, my mom @arashi0416 asked me if she could watch it with me. So, I do so when my work ends earlier at night. I decided to just watch a different anime in my room during my short breaks at work or when my student is absent and/or late. :)
And maybe because I'm re-watching the series, I felt like drawing some characters and the first one I came up with is the gravity hater, Kenma.
I like drawing Kenma especially his hair. It's so fun to color it. It's also my first time using my acrylic markers in making anime fan art, so it's quite exciting. Here's the result. :)
It's so much faster to paint now compared to the usual style. Acrylic markers are amazing! hahah Now, let me show you some of the progress shots. :)
First, I quick sketched this cutie using HB pencil on my A5 sketchpad. :)
I also included a small cat paw print on the side because Kenma is a cat. haha
I'm happy with the result. It was also very easy and fast that it took me less than an hour to finish.
Kenma is one of the characters that I admire... and maybe he's someone I could relate to. I like how honest he could be... I like how he complains but still try his best. He's also very imaginative...
In the movie released earlier this year, I must say, Kenma was the main character. the last play done in his POV was so memorable. I'd love to watch it again once the movie is available online. I'd probably watch it multiple times as well...
Guess I'll never get tired of watching Haikyuu!... :)
Thanks for checking this post out. I hope you like this fan art of mine. See you around! (^^,)/
