Hello, friends and fellow adventurers! It's me again, here to share another travel experience with you. This time, let me take you to the newly opened Lakeside Campsite in Mabini, Bohol. My family and friends had the pleasure of spending the night here, surrounded by nature's beauty. Stay tuned as I bring you a glimpse of this serene getaway.

If you are traveling from Tagbilaran to Mabini, Bohol, the journey will take approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes (103.4 km) via the Balilihan-Hanopol-Butuan Road. There are three options for travel: bus, taxi, or car. However, if you're traveling with family and friends, it’s more economical to rent a van or car, as it will help you save a bit.
We are from Jagna, so getting to the campsite was a quick and easy drive for us. We chose to take our own car, bringing along family and friends to share in the experience. As we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by clear signage pointing the way, building up our excitement as we approached the campsite.

As you enter the campsite, there are several rules you must follow. You are also responsible for your own trash.

As we arrived, we were amazed by the stunning surroundings, with the mountains beautifully encircling the lake. We noticed other tents set up by visitors who also planned to stay overnight. My family and friends decided to do the same, eager to experience the beauty of the place, especially as it transformed in the evening. It feels like you're outside the country, surrounded by such beauty and serenity.

This is the view as the afternoon fades, with the sunset painting the sky in stunning colors. It’s a beautiful sight to enjoy while sitting back and relaxing, watching other visitors arrive to spend the night. Many people choose to stay here because it’s so calm and peaceful.

Our tent is already set up for anyone who wants to rest, as it’s still early. Later, we can enjoy watching the others arrive. As you can see, we are fully prepared because we brought food, chairs, and drinks. By the way, you're welcome to bring drinks or liquor, as long as you can enjoy them responsibly. They also have a restaurant here, always ready to serve you.

We’re located near the top, offering a great overlook of the area. That tent looks amazing, surrounded by lights that make it stand out more than the others, which we only have solar lights and the light of the moon.

There’s also a bonfire here, which looks amazing and adds extra light to the surroundings, especially for the people enjoying the evening.

This is the view in the morning, with coffee and breakfast already prepared. Waking up here is a delightful experience—the sounds of birds chirping and the cool breeze gently caressing your skin make it even more refreshing. If you visit this place, you’ll easily forget your worries, especially if you stay overnight.
