LaWow, this is really amazing. Grows in groups on piles of rotten wood. The mushrooms are soft white with a cap. In my backyard there is a rotten wood tree in damp soil conditions because it is in bushes that are barely exposed to sunlight. Although this rotten wood has been there for a long time, this is the first time mushrooms h.

This is a type of Fairy Inkcap Mushroom. This mushroom grows in groups. The beauty of this small mushroom for me lies in the stem of the mushroom and the cap of the head that resembles an open umbrella.
Is this a type of mushroom that can be consumed? I have no recommendation from anywhere if this Fairy Inkcap mushroom is edible. Therefore, never consume any mushroom that is not commonly consumed.
