Try processing dara mussels with my local spicy seasoning known as "Pheip". But what if we modify the spice to be a little more modern. Curious, let's read my post below!.

A few days ago I went shopping at the traditional market in the city where I live now. Basic needs all plummeted, ranging from shallots, cooking oil to chili peppers. Ahhh as a person who loves cooking like me this is bad news. If I usually stock a lot of ingredients this time I only bought half of it. Hopefully in the next week the price of all necessities will return to normal. While shopping at the fish market I was very curious about an old man who was selling there, he was empty of buyers, I approached him, it turned out that he was selling shells that had been peeled. The price was very low he only sold 300 grams for only 15,000 I immediately bought it.

Now the plan is that I will sauté these clams with potatoes as usual. But for some reason I remembered my mother's recipe for making clams with spicy seasoning, often known as Pheip in our local language. As a result, I took the initiative to make the recipe, but I slightly modified the recipe by adding green onions to make it more savory and fragrant.

This recipe is very simple and easy, but the spicy flavor is quite tantalizing. The most important thing in processing clams is to marinate with salt and enough lime juice so that the clams do not smell fishy. Here's the recipe!

    Step 9

Cook this dish until perfectly cooked and can be enjoyed, don't forget to correct the taste if it's not right, you can add salt. Since I have added salt at the beginning when preparing the scallops, the flavor is just right.

Pheip clams or jerang sauteed spicy seasoning is ready to be served, serve with warm white rice. And enjoy it for lunch or dinner, you will definitely love it. This scallop dish is not fishy at all, it smells really good with various spices and natural herbs. And what I like the most is the spicy and savory taste of the mussels. The texture is not tough at all because it is cooked long enough in spices.
