Good evening vegan lovers, it's great to see you starting a better day today. Today I'm going to take you through one of my special oat recipes. I wanted to make a fake fried rice from oats, hehe the dish should be similar to the original, so I processed the oats first and then prepared it with my favorite vegetables.
This recipe was inspired by one of my friends who often roasted oats and then enjoyed it with fresh vegetables, I thought it would be a unique dish if oats became a delicious special fried rice. So instead of being curious, let's check out the recipe below.
Ingredients
10 grams of cabbage
10 grams of bean sprouts
1 stalk of springonion
1 stalk of celery leaves
1 red chili pepper
5 cloves of shallots 1 clove
of garlic
In making oat fried rice, you can use any kind of vegetable you like. However, for cabbage I highly recommend this vegetable, because the combination of oats is very similar to rice when combined when cooking both.
Cooking Procedure
Roast the oats in a hot pan until they change color, slowly add water little by little until the oats become lumpy.
Next, prepare the cabbage, finely chop the cabbage, and then prepare the onion and chili.
Cut celery leaves and green onions, then saute the finely chopped onions and chilies add vegetables
Add the chopped spring onions and celery leaves then cook until all vegetables are wilted, season with salt and sweet soy sauce.
Add the roasted oats, let it cook and stir everything in the pan. Don't forget to correct the taste if you want a little more savory, you can add mushroom broth.
Serving
Oat fried rice is ready to eat, then add vegetable meat or anything else you like. Just look at how much this fried rice looks like real rice even though it's real oats without any rice added. It's nice to be able to enjoy something delicious without feeling guilty, a little oil and delicious oat fried rice.
The combination of vegetables and oats is very tempting, more importantly there is no rice but it is very similar to real fried rice. Hehe I was skeptical at first but when I scooped one mouthful, wow, it was delicious.
For those of you who don't like to enjoy unprocessed oats, I think this is an easy way to enjoy delicious oats without worrying about tasteless oats. It's flavorful and everything is served deliciously in a serving plate. I highly recommend you this dish.
