I don't think this is going to last very long until I give up. Tactician feels too forgiving, too easy, too quaint for my homicidal vibes, and there's no drama involved if there's... no drama involved.
Therefore, we'll probably abandon this particular campaign before too long, but none the less, it forms part of the narrative arc of "finishing the game on hard mode, by any means required".
