Made a halfway stop on the drive home to walk a track from Waterfall Station. Looking for autumn orchids
A bit of rain brings mushrooms out
A day for banksia - quite a few types
Tongue orchid leaves - cryptostylis subulata
Cymbidium suave a little above ground
Pine leafed geebung
Cluster of bonnet orchid leaves
A very scribbled, scribbly gum
Purple fringe lily
A differnt banksia form
Stepped back photo to show a bud and the leaves
Narrow leafed hemigenia
Pin leafed banksia - same as the first one
Memorial to fire-fighter volunteers

Third different form of banksia
More to guess about - pine leafed too
Ant action in this banksia
Walk worked well to break the trip up. Was too hot to do the walk until an orchid is found. Will have to do with 3 leaves - not even a bud
Been a good few days away. I enjoyed catching up with my Bike Friday friends - been 18 years since my first annual event. Had a nice weekend in Shoalhaven Heads doing a few different things. Too bad about the bike wheel problems
