    A few weeks ago, I introduced you to my cat. This time, it's the turn of the spoiled, the restless and the hyperactive. Today I introduce you to a dog that I love as if he were a 4-legged brother, Neon.


    Hace unas semanas, les presenté a mi gato. En esta oportunidad, le toca al consentido, al inquieto y al hiperactivo. Hoy les presento a un perro que lo quiero como si fuera un hermano de 4 patas, Neón.

    Neon came to our family about 8 years ago. He was given to us by an uncle when he was a puppy and from that moment on, the home changed dramatically. I can say, with certainty, that there was a lot of difference between the house without a pet and with a pet. Obviously, for the first few months he was the star of the household. We all wanted to pet him, play with him, observe him, etc. It was a new experience for us. He was the first pet we had.

    Neón llegó a nuestra familia hace 8 años aproximadamente. Fue regalado por un tío, cuando era cachorro y desde ese momento, el hogar cambió rotundamente. Puedo decir, con seguridad, que hubo mucha diferencia entre la casa sin mascota y con mascota. Obviamente, los primeros meses fue el protagonista del hogar. Todos queríamos acariciarlo, jugar con él, observarlo, etc. Era una experiencia nueva para nosotros. Él fue la primera mascota que teníamos.

    Neon is a super restless and anxious dog. In that sense, he came out to me 🤣. It's amazing the energy he has. Several people told me he looks like a puppy the way he acts. All the time he wants to play. Whenever someone arrives, he greets them with a lot of nervousness and anxiety, barking and stalking. He was never an aggressive dog, but he is very nervous and skittish.

    Neón es un perro superinquieto y ansioso. En ese sentido, salió a mí 🤣. Es increíble la energía que tiene. Varias personas me dijeron que parece un cachorro por como actúa. Todo el tiempo quiere jugar. Siempre que llega alguien, lo recibe con mucho nerviosismo y ansiedad, ladrando y acechando. Nunca fue un perro agresivo, pero sí es muy nervioso y asustadizo.

    Honestly, I have too much affection for this animal. Sometimes I wake up and have him on top of the bed. He has dozens of places to sleep and more accessible, but he chooses to come upstairs and find me to sleep. He even came to my bed once when I was lame, because of a badly cut fingernail. I couldn't believe it and I was dying of love.

    Honestamente, le tengo demasiado afecto a este animal. A veces me despierto y lo tengo encima de la cama. Él tiene decenas de lugares para dormir y más accesibles, pero decide subir las escaleras y buscarme para dormir. Incluso llegó a mi cama una vez que estaba rengo, por una uña mal cortada. Yo no lo podía creer y me moría de amo.
    For these reasons I will always prefer dogs. Loving, faithful and loyal animals. Cats, on the other hand, tend to be unfriendly.
    Por estas cosas yo siempre voy a preferir los perros. Animales cariñosos, fieles y leales. En cambio, los gatos suelen ser antipáticos.

    Unfortunately, he lost a little bit of prominence since the cat arrived. But for me, he is still the favorite pet in the house. There is not a single day where I don't play with him for at least 5 minutes. We are both tireless and can be on the move a lot. To the point of exhausting the patience of the whole family.

    Lamentablemente, perdió un poco de protagonismo desde que llegó el gato. Pero para mí, sigue siendo la mascota preferida de la casa. No hay un solo día donde no me ponga a jugar con él, al menos 5 minutos. Ambos somos incansables y podemos estar mucho tiempo en movimiento. Al punto de colmar la paciencia de toda la familia.

    To all of you who have pets, I recommend the same thing. Enjoy as much as you can, because they, unfortunately, go very quickly. I don't even want to think about the day I don't have one, but life is like that. That's why you have to take advantage of everything you can.

    A todos los que tengan mascotas, les recomiendo lo mismo. Disfruten todo lo que puedan, porque ellos, lamentablemente, se van muy rápido. No quiero ni pensar en el día que no lo tenga, pero la vida es así. Por eso hay que aprovechar todo lo que sea posible.
