Eating together with my family is one I cherish so much. I love food, but when it comes to family dinner, the meal tastes so different. Family dinner brings us together; it tightens our bond as a family. Family dinner is the only time that brings my family together because everyone is so busy with work. It is only during the family dinner that we get to relax, talk about family matters, and so on.
Today's topic just took my memory back. I can remember when I was still young and whenever a family member was living under a roof, family dinner was one meal that we didn’t joke with. I can still remember back then Mom reminding us to always come back before dinner. Wherever I am, once it is time for my family dinner, I run back home. It is not just a meal to me; it is a period I bond with my family, and I can’t trade it for anything. If there is something I love doing with my family, it is spending time with them. I want to create a lot of memories with my family.
Currently in my family, the time for my family dinner has changed. A family dinner was a valued tradition my family held so tight; as time passes, everyone becomes so busy with work and other things. Most of the time, I come back very late from work as a result of the busy and tight schedule from us. The family dinner was changed; we eat separately because of how busy we have come. I have really missed eating dinner with my family most times before I come back home. I have really sorted myself before heading home because I will not like to sleep on an empty stomach; if there is something I avoid, it is a late meal. Due to the nature of my work, I always miss dinner with my family.
I have missed having dinner with my family. The only time I have dinner with my family is when I am on leave or during Christmas celebrations.
Eating together as a family bonds the family together; it creates memories that I will forever cherish. Most times when I remember my family dinner, I will just be smiling at myself. I can remember the first time I left my house due to work. I find it very hard to eat alone because it is never my thing to eat all by myself. Seriously, I really miss my family dinner. It is so nice to eat together as a family; the bond and the storytelling—I miss it.
If you have time to share a meal with your family, please do; the bond is always sweet, and the memories are amazing. family will always remind family
