These two days I an at Penang attending our company’s 2025 kick-off meeting. The event was held at the grand ballroom of the Eastern & Oriental Hotel. With the meeting scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., I purposely arrive two hours early. I wanted to avoid the morning traffic and get a breakfast nearby the hotel.
Upon arrival, I found myself drawn to the small pier in front of the hotel’s main lobby. The view of sunrise was beautiful and calming. I take a seat at the bench and enjoy the precious minutes.
I sat there, letting the sunrise golden sunray shined over me. After few minutes sitting there, I then walked into the ballroom feeling recharged and ready for the day ahead.
