Last week, my brother and I were traveling in Barcelona and more or less had a day off to visit the city. It was also our first visit to Barcelona - I've only been to Malaga, Marbella etc. before. In the late afternoon we met up with the lovely @flauwy, who is from the area and we haven't seen for a very long time. A good reason to take a walk around the city with him as our tourist guide. We had a delicious burger for dinner - in a place he recommended and the burger was really really good. Afterwards, we wandered around the streets a bit and thought a beer wouldn't be bad. So we went to a supermarket (there really are a lot of them) and chose San Miguel from the fridge. So I took out 3 cans and went to the cashier and showed him that I was paying for all 3 beers.
He then told me €3 and I handed him the money. But at that moment I wasn't really sure whether he had charged me for all 3 beers or just mine, one. So I pointed to all 3 beers and asked, all 3 €? He nodded and we left the store. I was really amazed at how cheap a can of San Miguel beer is locally :D Well, we went on to a small square along the main road where there were lots of skaters - sat down, chatted a lot and enjoyed our delicious San Miguel from the can. A lovely day and a nice end to the day with our friend @flauwy in Barcelona - we'd love to come back if we're ever in Barcelona again. Cheers.
