Greetings!
November came with lots of expenses, and at a point, I feared I might not meet up with a lot of things. Most of the expenses were impromptu, and it was so hard footing those financial demands that seemed to come out of nowhere.
The first instance was the repair of the soakaway in the compound. It was something we had been procrastinating for a long time, but the need to get it repaired became unavoidable, leaving us with no option but to address the issue. The repair cost us a lot, especially because no one in the compound was prepared for it. However, we got it done, and we’ve since been relaxed, enjoying peace of mind—unlike before when we constantly worried it might fail one day and cause serious disruption.
Onboarding and Coaching:
In November, I dedicated my limited time to onboarding and coaching a group of friends. It has always been my wish to help someone establish themselves fully on this blockchain through my guidance and follow-ups. Whenever someone approaches me for coaching, I accept the task with delight, even though there’s nothing tangible for me to gain in the end.
The journey of coaching them has been quite tough, especially because of my lack of time and the fact that some of them are not very tech-savvy. To clarify, in case they read this, I don’t mean to insult anyone—being unfamiliar with internet and basic technology is perfectly normal...most of us were once like that
So far, they’ve been gradually catching up and making progress. I hope they remain consistent in the long run, especially during times when votes don’t come as frequently.
Hive:
November added to the list of months in which I didn’t perform well on Hive. The luck that shines on earnings felt very distant, and I kept wishing for the month to end quickly. Nevertheless, my Hive Power increased slightly from my earnings. I hit 4,000 Hive Power and crossed it, finishing November with just a few HP left to reach 4,100 Hive Power. I’m gradually heading to 5k.
My engagement was very poor, mainly due to my work schedule and a significant bout of laziness. This, in turn, affected my earnings, something I plan to step up this December. I know December will be busier with work, but I’m determined to give it a good push.
The increase in Hive price brought a smile to my face. Seeing my wallet improve is a big flex, and I hope the upward trend continues. It’s always motivating to see growth in value, as it encourages us to put in more effort.
May December be bigger and better. Amen!
