It is true and necessary that we have to be educated! Education builds the mind and helps the mind as well.
We go to different schools where by we meet different types of teachers. We meet teachers with different methods of teaching.
Let me briefly talk about a teacher and their responsibilities.
A teacher is an individual who passed knowledge to another individual(students )because he or she knows more
A teacher is also a professional educator.
A teacher has many duties and responsibilities to carry out, outside passing knowledge to students.
Responsibilities like...
Instructing. A teacher is also a guidan, yes because he or she is basically a parent of their students. So it's part of their many duties to lay and give instructions to student and also make sure that they abide by them all instructions.
Guidance. All the moments and hours spent in the school environment it is the duty of a teacher to provide for students, support for them and Also direct them in Evey thing they do even outside academic wise. It includes personal growths as well.
This are just primary duties and responsibilities.
Talking about KEY responsibilities.
Teaches are ment to to prepare and plan lessons before class,
They are supposed to manage the class rooms and make sure it's well organised.
They supposed to guide, instructs and teach.
They are supposed to have listening hears and always give feedback to students that are not always satisfied.
They are supposed to have a very good communication skills.
They are supposed to have students and teacher relationship.
They are supposed to stay updated on Educational practice....
A teacher is also supposed to be a good mentor, counsellor, role model, couch.
These and many more are KEY responsibilities of a qualified teacher.

In cases where students are academically poor, is it then the fault of the teacher or the students?
Well sometimes it could be the fault if the student for his bad performance. While sometimes it could be the fault of the teacher.
A student can be the reason for this bad academic performance in school. Why? Because...
Many students don't fine school interesting they find school as stress and a boring gathering, many just go to school and then anticipate for the lunch break so they can be free and in no time it's the closing time. So in cases where a particular finds himself in such a situation they find it hard to take in what ever would be passed across by the teacher.
They see moments where teachers take time to pass knowledge as wait and boring sections. This kind of pupil can never have good academic performance! But talking about other wise like sport and play they could come out fine oo but taking about sitting in a sport and then give listening hears and write they find it hard to do. This kind of student needs to be counselled and guided as well.
Another reason a student could also be a reason for his bad and poor Academy performance is lack of personal reading,and revising.
It's expected of every sensible students to always go back and revise, read and study what has been thought by his teacher in a day for better understanding and knowledge about it!
You know,it will be unforgettable if you read and understand then compose your past of what you've read because you've understood from another perspective.
So imagine a student that was thought in school and then returned home or during leisure was just playing and not even trying to be creative. I'm aware of the popular saying all work with no play makes jark a dull boy. But just so you know jark wey dey play don read, and study pa for BTS (Behind the scene). So better no follow jark dey play when he dey paly.
They're are also these set of students that fail academically because they are dependent on their fellow mate, then unfortunately for them during tests and exams they tend to scatter the whole students in the class rooms. I was once a victim. And at that point I was just eatin my pencil because I didn't even prepared for the exam at all, and when I looked at the one friend that i was depending on, that one just dey enjoy herself Dey go ni... I no fit cry they day.
Well I learnt and made sure that didn't repeat itself ever again.
Bad Academy performance of students could also be the fault of teachers.
As loaded as teachers are they find it so difficult and stressful passing knowledge to their sheeps (students).
Some teachers just enters the classroom and then rub off the board and then reloads it and just tell students to copy in their notes and then leaves the classroom without give explanation, which is the most and very important to be done when it's comes to teaching. cause How is expected of students with less knowledge to understand!?? They would only stress their brain to go deeper which could affect their mental health.
Some Teachers gives note, Explain, gives examples Abd even does practicals. But when it's comes to answering students questions they become so ignorant And they began ignore questions asked by their students. Sometime they postpone answering date till forgotten by both teachers and students.
While some teachers after been asked questions by students will give the same students who asked the questions as an assignment. And then unnecessary punishment will be given to them if they fail it. This happens sometimes, talking from experience 🥲
When Teachers consistently miss and skip classes how can the student not fail?
They would definitely.
When Teachers continually give reasons for missing class they students would also be affected for sure! If a teacher would miss a class it's wise of him or her to bring Someone who would stand in gap for the students sake.🥲
So talking about students bad Academy performance could either be from the students themselves or the teachers.
