At first I found this jumping spider on the tip of a dried plant next to my house. I was so lucky that I can take photos of this spider on the plan, before it decided to do something that some of the spider like to do. Which is jumping to my hand when ever I try to hold the plant it resting on.
It is so often that the spider end up on my hand after a few shots on the plant. Maybe this little guy knows that it will be in a good hand if it jumps right to me. at lest I only have to turn my hand to get a better angle for its photo. not like when it is on the plan, which sometimes I need to bend the plant a little bit rougher. hahah
This beautiful metallic green jumping spider is most likely to be the Cosmophasis thalassina. Cosmophasis thalassina is a species within the genus Cosmophasis, which is part of the Salticidae family, commonly known as Sea-green Northern Jumper or jumping spiders.
