Climbing the rankings in Lichess and training for the next Hivechess

I'm always playing chess, I think I play a game or two a day whenever I have some time off from work, this week I decided to raise my rating a bit so I can move up the ladder in the weekly tournament.

I think there are better prizes there so I set a goal to climb at least 30 points every day until I finish the hivechess or until I reach my limit.

Only blitz games at the moment which is the most played around here so take a look at my training.

    half a game

we start with something simple and that is the opening and middlegame which is where most of the action takes place, I usually play very solidly against the king's pawn and this time it was no different, what was different was my approach in the middlegame.

This phase is where all the fundamental plans that will give us the victory are developed, I don't want to boast but I have a good eye for finding plans as you can see in this game.

    Openings

the next game focuses on the opening and how to be aware of your opponent's key mistakes in this initial phase, this is the phase where you have to develop your pieces more than attacking.

placing them in useful positions in the short and long term is very helpful in planning future moves.

    time management

if we talk about blitz we have a quite short time between moves, depending if we have increment or not that effect can weigh even more on us

so knowing how to manage time and knowing how to be uncomfortable in the position for the enemy can give us an extra advantage on the clock which can then be translated on the board.

    Storm of attacks

and a bullet game to finish today's session, it looks like tomorrow's tournament will be in this format and I think I have a lot more experience here than I thought, very good time controls, even when I see that I have lost the game, I pull good moves out of my pockets and with time I can even win as in this case.

Training is key especially with the players playing in this tournament so if you want to train with me and you have a lichess account you can comment and I will approach you so we can play some games.
