Electricity, Electricity, Electricity, how many times did i call your name?, three whole good times. The situation is totally rough and not palatable, nothing to write home about. It's unbelievable, but it's true, until you experience it by your own self, how we are always in darkness and yet, we must pay the expensive bills they're always bringing that we never used or enjoyed. Who does that? in the first world countries?.
Else, they will cut out and off that very wire linking the light into your house to their transformer, taking them to their office for ever, when ever you wake up from your sleep of not paying for the darkness, you can now go to their office pay them for your own electric wire they took away if only you can locate your own particular wire again, you collect them and then again pay for your never used light that they never gave to you. This is the senerio about electricity usage in my area in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.
Which country in this world does that?. Can this be heard in developed countries of the world??, a capital noo. Only here in Nigeria, a third world developing country can both the staff and the management of an organization as large as Aba power can attempt this without conscience and still boldly pretend they're serving the same suffering masses. It's so painful, pathetic and as well very hurtful.
From Month to Month, one can barely count how many times this people brought light and yet you are being billed expensively for the commodity you have never used. Nobody is defending the masses, everyone is on their own, suffering this untold hardships.
Worst still, today you will hear that the national grid has collapsed totally, tomorrow you will hear again that the national grid has risen up again. No singular sustainability in this very important system that is controlling the progress and development of the entire country. From the tenure of one government to another, the story is just the same.
When you make an attempt to switch over to using fuel and generator, the noise and pollution is the worst. Fuel is already very costly coupled with the generator noise and pollution. You will just get frustrated and more bitter about the whole stuffs.
Solar panel system is very much appreciated but it's expensive. This one is manageable because it's powered directly from sunlight in the sky. Like i have a transistor radio that's powered by the solar system. All i just do every day is to bring it out under the sun, before evening, it's already full of power and the radio will entertain me free of charge and free from the stress of lack of electricity. To mention but a few, people are terribly suffering, surprised and confused, they don't know what to do about the whole thing.
Electricity is as important as life itself, let the government try their possible best to sort out this,
'paying for darkness syndrome in Nigeria.'
Thank you for reading through, i appreciate your support.
