So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is “FACING MY SHOWS”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “WE NEED MORE HOLIDAYS” This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the holidays they would love to see. Working so hard on a regular basis, it’s easy to see the need for more holidays, and having more holidays would make our approach to work so much different.
We got to see just how much the holidays were needed, from something as simple as birthdays, to changing the entire structure of the week, people have a lot to say when it comes to holidays. But then, one can only hope.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w109e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. HOLIDAY GRANTING FOR WORKERS: IT’S A MATTER OF PLACE AND PERSPECTIVE by @emrysjobber
This author told us that he hoped that every holiday would be a general one for everybody. This is because most companies don’t generalize holidays. Religious holidays are only given to those who observe the particular religion, even though the government declared it a holiday for everyone. So, he hopes that every holiday becomes one that everybody can enjoy.

For this author, he believes that one’s birthday should be observed as a holiday for that person. It would be a day when they don’t go to work or do anything major, just enjoy the day and have a good time with their family. It would definitely make for a great birthday.
