Yogurt and apple donut

    Ingredients:

    • 300 g flour,
    • 250 Greek yogurt,
    • 3 eggs,
    • 200 sugar,
    • blended zest of 2 mandarins with a little sugar,
    • 1 bag. Yeast,
    • 30/40 g. sunflower oil,
    • pieces of 2 apples,
    • flaked almonds to garnish.

    How to:

    Butter and flour the mold and put it in the fridge. Cut the apples and season them with lemon juice and a little sugar. Turn the oven on at 190°. Blend the eggs with the sugar until they are nice and frothy, then add the yogurt and the mandarin zest, blend then + half the flour sifted with the yeast, blend a little, then add the oil, blend and then the other half of the flour with the yeast and whisk as little as necessary to mix well. Finally add the apples with the liquid they have produced and mix by hand. Place in the mold and cook at 180°. In my oven it took about 40 minutes. Try toothpick. When cold I polished with a syrup made with acacia honey, sugar and water.
