News about land 1.75 rolling out is spreading like wild fire. I have been positioning to play for the cards demand increasing, and seeing the land update only solidifies my decision is the one I want to keep.
What I am not ready for in the updated land roll out is the need of creating different resources in order to earn SPS and research. We have until the March 18 to adjust our plots or make as much grain until then.
Needing the new resources will drain my current assets further due in part I already lack the DEC to be in production at max capacity. It is too much of an upfront cost to swap production resources for me too. I will be focusing on DEC accumulation in hopes to build out grain and only grain. My thought is due to my lack of liquidity I would rather to focus on accumulating cards than being most efficient in the use of my land plots.
This will mean I am losing value for not operating my land at full capacity, yet on the flip side I am preparing for the new card set to roll out. The more lucrative option I see is in rank battles and here is why?
Watching how some players are yielding thousands of SPS I really believe Survival mode is currently the more profitable option to play through than land. I can be wrong as more players partake in Survival which in turn shrink the earned rewards as the pie remains the same. However we have not seen how this all plays out yet so I have a plan and executing on it.
Seeing over on X.com some of my posts I see from following top players are yielding ridiculous amount of SPS in Survival mode. Just look at Jeff:
I barely get 1/7th of that in rank battles but to get 1/7th of that in survival mode I would take that any week of the season. I am up to taking this risk for putting my cards in Survival mode do in part of focusing on yielding the most SPS.
In the end land 1.75 main goal for me is really to earn the most SPS I can get. With the new resources it dilutes my production only to have it likely produce less SPS as I need to divide my resources to further create rock, wood, and iron. I rather focus on cards and how I play them to earn me SPS. If I do well I earn a bit of SPS but if I play poorly I earn no SPS. Playing through land plots as not much of skills but managing resources properly and scheduling the right time to buy and sell resources. The latter is not what I currently want to be playing.
Near the end of the season with one day left I intend to try out Survival mode and see how that plays out. I will report back tomorrow on the update and whether I will be changing my plans.
