What’s up my dear Hiver’s! I hope everything goes well with you’ll. May we all have a wonderful day ahead as we manifest all the good and best things in life. As we welcome the positivity and gratitude, let’s remember to support one another on this journey. Together, we can build a harmonous community filled with encouragement and inspiration.
Today, I am going to share with you how my Sunday went and I will glad to share another milestone in my life.
Two days ago, I had my oathtaking ceremony to become a fully pledged ❤️ licensed teacher. Maybe I’ll just write a separate blog about that, but for now, I’m going to share a glimpse of how I celebrate a special day with my family. Even those small achievements are meant to be celebrated because this somehow reminds me that every step forward, no matter how small, is still progress. Progress or development is something great and worth acknowledging, and I decided to mark the occasion with a simple family gathering. We shared funny stories 🥰, and making memories that would last long after the day had passed.
So, yeah! Right after the program, I plan to treat the whole family to a restaurant for a meal. When we got out of the area, there was a little chaotic situation because, due to a lot of guests, we had a hard time getting a taxi or any car because most of them were already booked online. So, we waited for like almost an hour already, so I decided to take cutting trips going to the SM Seaside mall. As we finally made our way to the mall, I could feel the excitement building among the family. It was a special Sunday of Februay and we are really enjoying a delicious meal together after our little adventure made it all worthwhile.
The weather was so hot 😵💫 it was already late in the afternoon, and I could already feel my feet getting numb. Also, we haven't had a meal at all since that morning, so we're exhausted and hungry (I didn't expect this). And finally, after almost an hour, we were able to get a ride going to Mambaling from Basak and then another ride going to the mall. It was such a hassle, but I don’t mind it at all because all I wanted was for us to get to our destination so we could have a proper meal.
I decided to dine in at Classic Savory; by the way, this is our first time here, so I wanted to try their menu. I love the ambiance of the place, and for me, I got the ultimate dining experience that fit my budget. Their food is so good that it leaves you speechless haha maybe we were just so hungry that time but yeah I definitely love it.
We ordered their best seller, Savory Whole Chicken and Garlic Chicken, which is way different from what I had tasted in other restaurants, but it is so tasty and tender. We also had their noodle menu, which is the Long Life Pancit Canton and Savory Classic Lomi Soup, which is so good, and we also had other pork on the menu. We enjoyed all the food we had, and we were so full that time we hadn’t even finished some of our food, so we decided to take it out. I will surely dine in again. Our meals were fantastic and of course, I am going to share this experience with my friends.
After we finished eating - we spend like an hour walking around the mall and buying a few things like Kettle Korn. It has been a tiring day, but the gratefulness I felt was beyond measure. It was more than a year of hardwork and dedication just to reach this day of celebration. I can say it was all worth it, and no matter how small or big, we all deserve to celebrate our small wins. As we waited for the bus going home, I reflected on how these moments of joy and celenration are what truly enrich our lives.
