My 2025 Target On Hive Blockchain
Time is very mysterious, our journey into 2025 still surprises me, it was like yesterday when we celebrated the first day of 2024 and here we are, already in 2025. Life is not as distant as we think it is.
The beginning of each year is like a fresh start to everyone. It's another opportunity to plan, execute and fulfill our dreams.
Last year was a tough one for a lot of people, including myself. I had a lot of goals on hive Blockchain. I started the year full of energy and high hope but along the line, things came crashing and I didn't achieve most of them.
However, the failure of last year cannot make me discouraged. This year I am moving ahead, and am coming back with a bigger force.
Since the year is twelve months, I am setting my goals for six months. By God's grace, by June I should be reflecting on what I have already achieved and then make an upgrade.
Below are my goals for Hive Blockchain for the year 2025.
1 . Hive Power: by June, I am hoping to have an addition of at least 500 Hive Power. I powered down a lot last year due to unforeseen circumstances and I am not hoping to do the same this year. So, I will power up more and focus on creating more quality content.
2 . Engagement: my engagement on hive Blockchain last year was poor. I literally felt the gap. It was as if something was taken out of me. I missed a lot of people and I didn't make new friends. I really don't want that experience this year.
As such, I have set a target of interacting with at least four posts daily. I would have done more but my schedule is too tight. With time, I'll improve.
3 . Consistency in content creation: I struggled so much last year with commitment to making posts. Sometimes I write half way and keep procrastinating till the prompt elapses. I don't need anyone to tell me that I made less posts last year than any other year.
Ever since I got carried away by other activities and stopped participating in Dreemport, my growth on the blockchain also got tempered with.
In that regard, I am setting a target of making one post everyday throughout the week and also I will resume Dreemport. I will also explore more communities so that i can get prompts to participate in.
4 . Sharing the good news of hive: I want to also keep a routine of bringing more productive and creative people to the Blockchain. Before June, I hope to onboard three or four people to Hive. The number sounds small but I am more concerned about bringing people I can coach and train into mastery and not individuals that will come and run after a while.
5 . Savings: Hive is one of the sweetest places to store your assets. I remember a time, I forced myself to lock some of my HBD, it was not easy but what I saved came through for me when I was in need. I love the lock up feature. It prevents me from spending unnecessarily because whenever I need my assets, I'll have to wait until after 3 days.
In that regard, I am planning to make it a habit to start saving at least 2 HBD weekly. It sounds small, I know. I remember @princessbusayo back then always encouraged me with the adage, "A little drop of water makes an ocean." I really reaped a lot from that adage. A big thanks to her.
These are only but a little from my goals for half of the year on hive blockchain. I hope to achieve these and even more subsequently. My success on these ones will determine whether I'll set more goals or build more on the already established ones.
