But before we dive into the details, I'd like to share with you some opinions and thoughts on recent musical happenings that are making waves in the music world. And in my personal case they have caught my attention. Without further ado, let's get started.

Well, my dears, in today's news order I tell you that Wilco, the American alternative country band, has just released their new EP. This is called Hot Sun Cool Shroud. You should know that this new project includes six songs that were recorded during the sessions of their 2023 album, I think it was called Cousin.
By the way, the EP has been available on digital platforms since June 28. In addition, it will have a special vinyl edition that can be purchased during the Solid Sound festival, organized by the same band at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This special edition will allow fans to personalize the album cover with stickers designed by visual artist Kathleen Ryan.
On the other hand, I would like to tell you that Jeff Tweedy, the vocalist, has said that the EP has a “summer after dark” vibe. According to him, the songs start off with a hot and hectic feeling, which he says you guys have to interpret haha. It is said that they culminate in a more refreshing tone. Tweedy also mentioned on social media that this project is more aggressive and angular compared to their previous works.
As for the Solid Sound 2024 lineup, in addition to Wilco, artists such as Wednesday, Ratboys, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and many more will be performing. The event will also include live performances from Hrishikesh Hirway’s Song Exploder podcast and John Hodgman’s Comedy Cabaret. Buying new cards in Rising Star.
Friends, it's time for my favorite section of this favorite, in which I show you my latest acquisitions in our beloved game Rising Star. As usual, I've added 3 new cards to my collection. Some I acquired simply because I liked them and they were cheap, while others I chose for their unique characteristics. Without further ado, here are my new additions.
Well, friends, the first card I bought this morning is called: R512 Bryn. This card, as you can see in the 2 screenshots, belongs to the rare cards section. I found this card interesting because it brings me about 135 fans, not bad really. I think it's ideal to buy several more, since right now it offers one of the best quality-price ratios that can be found in the game. In the case of the skill, this card brings 70. In addition to those 2 things, the card also gives me 3 luck and 2 IM.
As you can see in the screenshot below, this card cost me around 8118 Starbits on the in-game market, which seems pretty affordable considering it brings me a good amount of fans. I might buy a few more of this card, we just have to see if it maintains this price. The custom phrase on this card is: “Bryn there, done it all, got the t-shirt.”
Friends, the second card I acquired is called 128 Toby. This card, unlike the previous one, is a common card. It offers me only one thing, 10 fans. In this case we don't have any skills or the other elements of the game. But well, you know that this is normal for common cards. The price is what's interesting. I'll show you in the next screenshot below.
The price of the card is 1152 starbits, which as you can see is quite cheap considering the current prices of cards and tokens in general. It is an option to consider if you want to buy in bulk. But wait, I am going to show you another card that I bought and that you might find useful as well. The phrase on this particular card is: “Toby in your band or not Tobi, that is the question”.
The last card I bought today is called 132 Liam. This card is a common card. It gives me about 5 fans and 5 skills. The price of the card is 1105 starbits, which makes it the cheapest card of the day in this post. I bought the card because of its low price, I think it is a good option to increase skills or fan a little at a low price. The phrase on this card is: “After years of bad mouthing his brother he now takes it out on the drums”.
My most recent progress in Rising Star.
Well my friends as you know everything that begins must end and this post is no exception. We have reached the final section but that doesn't make it any less fun. Now I'm going to show you a brief summary of all my progress in the game so you can follow my progress. Without further ado, I'll show you.
My skill is still dominating the stats with 20761 accumulated skill. Thanks to this I no longer have ego problems. On the other hand my fans are now 11495. My luck is 1649, My IM is 132. My current level is 52 with 806 XP / 2600. My total card collection is: 375.
