Somehow I've gone back to doing things I did in my childhood and adolescence, I think it's more the technique, but also the simplicity.
I'm spending hours drawing, smudging and pouring alcohol on the papers. I am mesmerized doing these things, playing with colors and experimenting with simple and symbolic shapes.
I am using mostly water-based ink markers and alcohol. This is something I did as a child when my markers stopped working, I would run them with alcohol for a while longer. Then I started using them more artistically. I love doing this.

I love the textures, the diluted spots, the more defined parts, the color gradient -from using a lot of alcohol.
Cheers!
