Good day everyone splinterlands community, zactian here. Today's Blog will share my overview of this Baron Boounty A Splinterlands Halving Event. I've never heard of the meaning of "halving" about cryptocurrency or games before. Although I'm not very knowledgeable about this, from what I've searched, a halving event in Bitcoin is when the payout for discovering new blocks is halved; this happens roughly every four years. This development is noteworthy because it slows the creation of new coins, impacting the cryptocurrency's overall supply. I think this Halving is good news for improving the ecosystem of cryptocurrencies or controlling inflation within the cryptocurrency.

New Promo Cards that have Halving Abilites
Which do you think is most Useful?🤔
These 2 cards are pretty strong considering that Halving alone is useful in most battles. But I think Henchling Enforcer is useful for my daily battle because I mostly use the Water Element and also the Life element in most of the battle rule sets given.
Baron Fyatt - Fire and Death element promo card, 2 magic damage, 2 speed, and 6 health with only cost 5 mana. The abilities in the max level are Halving, Scattershot, Ambush, and Blind. This is a pretty useful and good combo for a low mana cap rule set especially since it has an Ambush ability, it can attack first before the round begins and apply Halving. The only cons about this are speed and Scattershot if you are lucky.😅 But you can increase it by the help of summoner Conquerer Jacek or any summoner that has adding speed.
Henchling Enforcer - Water and Life element promo card, 4 range damage, 4 speed, 2 armor, 5 health, and only cost 6 mana. With abilities, it has Halving, True Strike, and Camouflage. This is what I believe is most common use in battle because it has a better compatibility of its abilities, speed, and range damage which is helpful for low mana cap rule set and only range rule set or utilizing any possible lineup using this unit. Now countering the ability of Halving is Cleanse, Purify, and I think Immunity. 🤔

Well as you can see my Arkemis the Bear can't apply Halving to opponent Mad Ogre Anarchist which confirms that Halving won't work against immunity cards. And yes I luckily win this battle because I dominated the opponent in terms of armor, and magic damage difference. The opponent Henchling Enforcer is doing its job perfectly it's just that the opponent didn't have enough damage to defeat early my Arkemmis the Bear and Gargoya Lion.
Better utilize the lineup and strategy plan with the abilities and given rule set.
Pricing and Discounts:
Cards are available for 31,250 and 3,125 DEC/Credits, respectively, with a 50% discount when using vouchers. The price honors the newly established Bitcoin block reward following its halving.
Rewards and Points:
Players may compete on a leaderboard and win prizes by accruing points for their purchases. Point multipliers go smaller as the event goes on.
Will I be buying these cards? for now, I am not buying these cards because I want to first build my deck using Reward cards and Chaos Legion, as they are way more useful and common use on the battle and cheap😅.
