"Great Blue Hearon"

Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all tonight is some shot's I got at one of my local lakes of this Great Blue Heron and he is an intriguing bird for sure. I've seen a few of these and they are more around then most birds but something about this guy right here that I like. It is easier to get decent shot's when the bird is only five to ten feet away from you and normally it fly's off but this time he stayed in the tree for me for a bit. Good thing because I continue to shoot birds over and over again, its always a different scene, so that's what makes shooting birds so fun to me. Now let's get into these shot's and the first one is absolutely my favorite one. The cover shot here, look at him, he looks mad or devious right now, like I truly wonder what is going on in his head at this moment of capture. Maybe not liking me, maybe another bird or even some fish he is looking at, I'm not sure but glad I got his expression this way in this shot. Let's say you, what do you think this bird is thinking of in this moment? I also like the way his hair or feathers are at this time, looks cool and better than being all flat, so it makes this shot pretty dang nice if you ask me. The next shot below, lets say the first one he is mad, this one to me looks like he is food ready, like something in the water to its left peaked its interest and again the chest hairs aka feathers have a good swirl to them.
Seeing that I had a moment to move around on this moment of scene, I got the other side of him here too and I always feel like this bird has different expressions. Or maybe its me being out there taking pictures to much thinking that way, Haha. Regardless another shot I like that goes good here on this post.
Now for the last shot, you know me I always try and get my head shot's in of birds etc and I managed to get this one right here. Now I am not sure if this was before he went up into the tree or after but I think it was before he flew up there. This shot to me is perfect, the Great Blue Heron head is perfect in quality and that background goes hard here. Looks like a painting to me and I like when I get shot's I really like and this is one. This is for sure a printable shot here if someone was interest in head shots of birds. Anyways hope you enjoyed this post, my shot's tonight and I appreciate you all stopping by my blog and post.
