Cuando diseño un muñeco para una persona en especial (ya sean pedidos o por afinidad) pienso en el nuevo hogar donde estará el muñeco. También me atrevo a probar nuevas técnicas (formas del cuerpo, unión de piezas, maneras de comenzar el tejido, entre otras) para incorporarlas en mis proximos diseños.
Esta vez este Chavito fue para un fanático de esta serie. Para esto me basé en la paleta de colores del capítulo n°1 de la serie (cuando revientan los globos). ¡Veámos cómo fue esto!.
When I design a doll for a special person (whether ordered or by affinity) think about the new home where the doll will be. I also dare to try new techniques (body shapes, joining pieces together, ways of starting the weaving, among others) to incorporate them in my next designs.
This time this Chavito was for a fan of this series. For this I based it on the color palette of the first episode of the series (when the balloons burst). Let's see how it was!
Calculando el tamaño final del muñeco
Tomé como referencia diseños anteriores: Guaman Poma, Mamani y Louis Tomlinson (yo le digo "los modelos", jaja). Quienes miden 20cm de altura. Si bien parecen iguales en estructura, en realidad son diferentes. Por ejemplo, para Chavito elegí el estilo del cuerpo de Louis Tomlinson, es decir comenzar de la cabeza a los pies.
I took as reference previous designs: Guaman Poma, Mamani and Louis Tomlinson (I call him "the models", jaja). They are 20 cm (7.9 in). Although they look the same in structure, in reality they are different. For example, for Chavito I chose the Louis Tomlinson body style, starting from head to toe.
Estructura o soporte I
Tenía muchas ganas de probar esta forma del cuerpo y al fin lo hice. Como uno de mis enfoques son los "muñecos", es decir para niños menores de 9 años, la articulación es distinta. Aquí le coloqué de soporte un tubo de plástico (el de los globos comúnes con caritas y eso).
I really wanted to try this body shape and finally I did it. As one of my focuses is on "dolls", for children under 9 years old, the articulation is different. Here I used a plastic tube as a support (the one from the common balloons with faces and so on).
Estructura o soporte II
Una vez cerrado el cuerpo, le agregué las piernas. Los brazos también los tejí por separado y los uní al cuerpo. Este tipo de cuerpo hace que el muñeco sea articulado.
Once the body was closed, I added the legs. I also crocheted the arms separately and attached them to the body. This type of body makes the doll articulated.
Dándole singularidad a Chavito
En esta parte me fijo más en el boceto que hice, para que no se escape ningún detalle. Aunque el cabello sí pude mejorarlo. Chavito lleva boca, porque pensar en este personaje nos saca una sonrisa y quise plarmar eso.
In this part I pay more attention to the sketch I made, so that no detail escapes. Although I could improve the hair. Chavito has a mouth, because thinking about this character makes us smile and I wanted to put a smile on our faces.
Sesión de fotos
Por lo general tomo fotos de día y cerca a una ventana. También uso un pedazo de tecnopor para que rebote la luz y desaparezca la sombra.
Buscar imágenes de referencia, dibujo o boceteo, paleta de colores, tamaño, formas y estructura, tejido, escritura del patrón y las fotos; me tomó unos 3 días...y eso que es un personaje conocido, jaja.
I usually take photos in the daytime and near a window. I also use a piece of technopor to bounce the light and make the shadow disappear.
Looking for reference images, drawing or sketching, color palette, size, shapes and structure, crocheting, writing the pattern and the photos; it took me about 3 days...and that's because it's a known character, jaja.

Me olvidaba, ya estásubidoel video tutorial del mini pingüino llamado "Sek", quien el lengua "Puquina" significa Corazón o lo que llevamos en el interior.
