Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all!
Today the Sun is shining on the sky and it's warm enough to enjoy the air in my backyard. The birds are singing all around, they seems to be very happy for the good weather and this morning a "special guest" came into my kitchen from the open window: a bumblebee!
I like the bumblebee and not just because they are useful insects, but also because they looks big-bellies bees and they are furry. They use to ignore humans and the male ones are not aggressive (the female ones are not so friendly), so when I watched the one this morning I was really calm. It was a funny moment, because that bumblebee (here in Italy we call it "bombo") was flowing in front of my face for some minutes before to come back in my backyard. 😊
Thinking about it, I thought it could be nice to paint a bumblebee in my own illustrative style:
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size ( the size of a common postal card) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this funny insect so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
