Life has been fair to me

It’s funny how life works sometimes, it’s funny how a person’s life can change within a twinkle of an eye. One minute you are all excited and the next minute it feels as though your world is crumbling.

One thing about bad things or misfortunes is that there’s no mark on your forehead that says “Spare this human, he just got robbed or kidnapped”, nothing to indicate you have gotten through a major hit in life, nothing to show that you were almost at your breaking point, nothing of such, meaning that tendency of being hit by life again cannot be completely ruled out, and this is such a painful thought.

Goodness of God by Cece Winans has been living rent-free in my head for days now and I thought to share it with you all.
This song has been on repeat for days now and I can’t help but be happy and grateful to God for everything.

This song was released in 2021 in Cece Winans Believe for it Album, though the original song was released in 2018 after which Cece Winans did her version of it, making the gospel song a major hit.

I shared a story of how a colleague of mine’s phone was stolen and a sum of 800k ($572) was wiped away from her account within a few hours. After the sad occurrence, this young lady’s life changed drastically. The once bubbly young lady who cracked everyone up became a shell of herself, she almost fell into depression, she’d always burst into tears whenever she thought about the incident and how helpless she was, she almost lost it.

This is the gravity of what some people’s wickedness can do to a person and such an act can be detrimental to a person’s health.

Two days after the incident I and my colleagues were able to raise over 600k ($428) plus a new phone was given to her, how this girl's life changed again was surprising, she moved from sobbing uncontrollably to laughing nonstop. This just shows the effect of good and bad events on people.

On my way to a friend’s father’s funeral today, all through the ride I thought about my life and I realized that God has been good to me. He has been so so good to me and my life is living proof of it.

I just realized that I have never been in a terrible situation before, a situation where my life turned drastically, or in a situation where I was terribly sick and was admitted to the hospital for surgery or any major health crisis, and the same thing for my siblings and father as well.

Do not get it twisted, life is not all rosy and grand for me and my family, I mean we have our good and bad days but our bad days haven’t thrown us off balance that we are totally helpless. Personally, all the challenges I have encountered in life have not forced me to borrow or beg people for money and I pray it remains like that for a very long.

Goodness of God by Cece Winans is a Christian worship song that enumerates the qualities of God, as well as what He has done and all that He will do.

Thinking and Realizing all the good things God has done I couldn’t help but be grateful to God for He truly comes through for me.
