🦉 The yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella)

In the forest that is located near the river bank there are small open spaces, lawns. And in these places live several of these birds. The photo above is for clarity.
This yellow guy was on top of the hill (that's the photo from that spot) and was doing a great job of finding food.
Worms, mustachioed beetles, he literally caught them every few seconds and ate them.
During the mating season and in the summer, these birds eat insects, and the rest of the time they feed on plant food, such as plant seeds, grasses, nuts, and of course oats, for which we call this bird - oatmeal (or more correctly it would be oaty\oater).
