I stepped away from home; the world is revolving, and just because you were so good in school back then in your days makes you think I will follow that part. I can actually continue my social life and my academics and still excel as long as I know what I want. That's my biggest drive. Knowing what you want and going for it.
The modern world has come forward to introduce smart work. As much as this ideology sounds great in my ears, my parents disagree with it. They believe in hard work like that of villagers touring day and night under the sun with little income as compensation, but I believe in smart work, adding up a nice strategy for a better result with little labor.
As I try so much to enlighten them on smart work, it seems I'm speaking jargon. That's their own belief, and I can't force them to believe mine; society has molded them to believe that way. Seeing their child in an office working her way all out brings them happiness, whereas seeing me at home stuck in my laptop doing my little thing brings which huge income wasn't making sense to them.
