Sunshine and smiles! I'm thrilled to be back with another cafe blog! In this post, I want to share my experience at a cafe I visited called Coffee Madness. That's right! The cafe's name is Coffee Madness, but their coffee isn't mad—it's actually quite witty right?
HOW TO GET THERE?
Coffee Madness is located in Tayud, Liloan, Cebu. This café is not directly on the main road; however, it is just a minute away from the national road, placed along a side street. The café operates from 2 PM to 10 PM.
If you're planning to visit Coffee Madness, find a modern Jeep and inquire if their route is Tayud Liloan. Make a stop at Parola Hardware. Then, proceed to the road adjacent to Parola Hardware and walk for 5 minutes until you arrive at the entrance of Coffee Madness.
FEATURES
Coffee Madness has a unique design, as many cafés tend to be primarily indoor; in contrast, this venue features a spacious indoor area that resembles a large backyard due to the abundance of plants everywhere, including striking bamboo trees that enhance its aesthetic appeal.
The café welcomes pets and has several dogs on the premises, though they are kept on leashes or in cages to accommodate guests who may prefer to avoid interaction with dogs. You are welcome to approach and pet the dogs. One of the staff members mentioned that one particular dog will follow anyone who shows him affection.
Additionally, the café has a swimming pool, but it appears to be for viewing purposes only, as it is surrounded by barricades. This café has numerous benches situated in various parts of the area. It's ideal for individuals seeking a space for meetings or those desiring some privacy. They also offer tables for groups as well as smaller tables for just two people.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THEIR FOODS AND BEVERAGES
Coffee Madness offers a variety of food and drink options. There are separate stores for food and beverages. At the entrance, you will see their coffee store while the food store is located beside the coffee store.
Let's start with the drinks. They have various types of coffee available, including hot and cold options, as well as milkshakes and frappes. Prices begin at 100 pesos, varying depending on your selection. One of the frappes I've tried is called Maddy Reese, which contains Reese's peanut butter, chocolate, and vanilla. I enjoyed the flavor of the frappe; as you drink it, the small pieces of Reese's blend perfectly with the liquid. My friends chose matcha green tea, cookies and cream, and Maddy Toasty Minty. These drinks not only look appealing but are also sure to be delicious.
For the foods, they offer a variety of dishes including pizzas, pasta, fries, burgers, sisig, truffles and more. Prices begin at 60 pesos, depending on what you choose. We decided to try the pepperoni pizza, fries, and carbonara pasta. My honest feedback about their food is that I truly enjoyed the carbonara pasta. It's clear that they don’t skimp on ingredients, as the dish is loaded with sauce and bacon. The flavor is very creamy and delicious. The sauce consistency is just right—not too thin. The fries are tasty and not burned, while the pizza is very chewy, mouth watery and its quite enjoyable and cheesy.
Going back to my experience, we enjoyed sharing snacks with my friends. We had a great time eating at Coffee Madness. For just 300 pesos, you can enjoy a delicious snack that will fill you up. Many customers were eagerly waiting for the café to open at 2 PM, even though it was only 1 PM. Numerous customers were gathered at the entrance, looking forward to dining at the café. Most of the customers were in groups or had specific plans. They also offer a large parking area within the café, which is very convenient since many customers arrive in vehicles.
After we finished our meal, we simply enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the cafe and its enchanting environment. This cafe stands out as one of the most unique cafes I have visited. Due to its spacious layout, the cafe never feels crowded, allowing you the freedom to do as you please without drawing attention from the staff or other customers. If you're an introvert looking for a place to spend time outside, this spot could be an excellent choice.
I also love capturing moments with my friends using my digital camera; the camera's filter combined with the vibe of the place creates a perfect aesthetic! While taking photos, we stroll around the café and enjoying the ambiance here. As the sun begins to set, the light becomes even more stunning, enhancing our pictures with the beautiful sunlight. It complements the filter perfectly. You can truly see in the photos how lovely the filter is.
We came here because of my local friend. She said that this cafe is nice and has aesthetic vibes. My other friend said, "let's treat ourselves to coffee madness because we DESERVE it," which is why we chose to go, even though we didn't truly deserve it since we didn’t do anything in school that day. We’re kind of gaslighting ourselves, aren’t we? Haha.
That's it for today's blog, Hivers! I hope I was able to present this café in a positive light, and encourage you all to check it out if you're near in the area. Thank you very much for reading! Ciao!
